Nice mold
Before buying I knew this mold did not make clear ice, this type of molds won’t make clear ice, you need a mold with insulation and are much more bulky and cost a lot more. And yes this type of ice melts at a higher rate compared to clear ice. I knew this before buy and im happy with my purchase. If timed right I can do 3 sets of molds in one day. That’s 6 diamond ice cubs a day. I put them in a ziplock bag and make a new batch. Well made plastic mold with silicone top. Happy with my purchase will buy again.

Durable molds, well-shaped.
To get crystal clear, you will have to do the slow freeze method, but the molds are easy release without the need for warming up the mold. The material is durable.

Great shape
This pair of Tovolo diamond-shaped ice cubes is a great way to add an interesting look and a nice large piece of ice to your drinks. They fill easily and are flat so they stack in the freezer to save space. Once frozen, the easiest way to get them out is to briefly run warm tap water over the underside of them and when you separate the two pieces they come out clean and sharp. The shape is nice, although it’s better in clear liquids rather than iced coffee - the shape disappears mostly in opaque liquids. For those, other Tovolo shapes, like flowers, are a better choice.These are a great addition to cold drinks and I am really enjoying them! Highly recommended!

Very simple to use with excellent results
Makes an excellent large sized ice cube perfect for beverages that you want chilled without adding too much water to fast from the ice cube melting. Results on clarity of the ice cube may vary with the method of freezing, but I have gotten very clear ice on a few occasions. Lastly the Ice cube (or diamond in my case) isn't too hard to extract from the mold, a few squeezes on the sides and a tap on the glass usually frees it from the mold.Great product for the results and aesthetic enhancement it can provide your drinks, I highly recommend it.
