This was an ok product. I was expecting a bit more rich taste it say Italian after all. Way more bitter than I anticipated.

First look & taste: product wasn’t packed well, loose, arrived with boxes banged up with expiration less than 8 weeks away. On the positive side, once opened, chocolate looked okay. Taste wise, it’s okay, nothing great. Their plain dark chocolate and the one with no added sugar tastes better (purchased in Florence store). It is full of tasty hazelnuts so it’s like high end chocolate candy bar vs high quality chocolate. Price for Italian high-end brand chocolate wasn’t bad. So not a bad value. I”ll have to decide after some time if I’d buy again or not. Certainly won’t bother once weather gets warmer (for any chocolate).

Die Schokolade ist wirklich lecker und entwickelt durch die Langhe-Nüsse eine sehr angenehme Süße, die nicht so klebrig-zuckrig ist. Schöner Knack im Biss und zarte Kakaonoten, weit entfernt von jeglicher Herbheit oder gar Bittere. Der Preis ist natürlich schon ziemlich amtlich und ob man diesen für angemessen hält, ist sicherlich Abwägungssache. Problematisch, aber dafür kann der Hersteller nichts: ich wollte diese Schokolade verschenken, aber sowohl die erste Lieferung (zwei verschiedene Tafeln) wie auch die kostenlose Ersatzlieferung waren beide an der Kartonverpackung beschädigt (das geht ja noch notfalls), aber alle Tafeln waren leider auch gebrochen. Damit sind diese Schokoladen als Geschenk ungeeignet und für Bruchware zu teuer. Die Reklamation und Erstattung funktionierte wie üblich unkompliziert und problemlos, aber schade um das Produkt ist es allemal, wenn man es nicht selbst verzehren will.
