ARGtek 10dBi 5.8GHz Omni-Directional Antenna for DJI Drones and Wireless Routers

Having a Dedicated 5.8ghz antenna (Not a dual band 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz combined antenna) is much more desirable and produces much better flight range and reception. Stay away from Dual Band antennas unless your aircraft absolutely requires it. THe Dji Phantom 3 Standard works much better with longer range with this antenna and two 2.4ghz Panel antennas compared to all Dual Band antennas which are now shipping with the ARGtek kits.

I was under the impression that this would replace the standard antenna, but you need a kit to use this, you cannot just replace the antenna that came with your remote and install this as a replacement, although the product is of high quality, I had to send mine back because I do not have the kit to install this antenna on

I ordered this antenna thinking this would work on my controller. mainly because of the question and answers. the answers implied it would. well, you need a modification on the controller to fit this.hopefully this will dissuade people from making the same mistake I did.

Dissapointed to find these are dual band 2.4ghz-5.8g omni-directional pcb antenna's, NOT dedicated 5.8ghz.

Works great!!! Now have confidence while flying over water with my P3 4K.

The antannea works well and extended the range by several hundred meters.
