Lots of detail and great quality
Fun! If I’m inspired to purchase another one, it deserves 5 stars. Sturdy heavy weight wood sheets make it easy to punch out the tinier pieces without breakage. Instructions were more like 4 out of 5 as there were a couple unclear issues with installing the light. Easy enough to connect wires and works fine but the picture quality and instructions weren’t specific on which side to attach/glue and I had my doubts about the touch pad working thru the wood(it does). The tiny clip positioned to hold the wires in place is a little too close to the printed power button to get it positioned as intended but still works. There’s a channel you build down the back corner after installing the light intended to run the wires but the instructions don’t tell you to do that. Then there’s a back wall panel at the bottom you install that has a tambour(bendable like a roll top desk) that covers a small cubby that looks like maybe intended for the battery pack but it doesn’t fit so I used that to bring the wires out and the battery pack just sits behind. Beside the light, went together great and have already ordered another.

Satisfying Craft, Beautiful Decoration
This was such a fun item to build! Great for experienced crafters but also has clear enough directions that first time crafters can do it. Materials were good quality and painted beautifully. I can't wait to build another.

Lovely Secret Santa Gift!
This is a gift for a friend of mine. Her list said she loves turquoise, books, puzzles and arts and crafts. Hello, 4 in 1 present! I saw some reviews regarding damaged items but the packaging is such that you can open the box to inspect it before giving it to someone. This item arrived in great condition. Superficial dents on the box but that isn’t a problem. The package comes with all sorts things like little lights, stickers and trinkets. It seems very sturdy wood and well crafted. It looks fairly easy to assemble. This craft looks so cute, I will get one for myself to enjoy this winter season.

Cute and fun
It is so cute and easy to build, but it requires patience and extra materials like glue and scissors that are not included.

Surprising quality
I have been wanting to do one of these book nooks for ages, and finally settled on one and put it on my wish list. Well, no one got it for me, so I decided to just go for it. I am so glad I did, and also concerned, because now I need more. I had tried one other miniature thing before (a tiny greenhouse with paper plants), and I have to say that this one blows it out of the water. All of the wood pieces popped easily out of the boards, and they snap together so snuggly, I am not at all worried about it falling apart. The one problem I had with the wood was on the cauldron, as the sides are meant to bend, but I snapped one in half. It ended up not making any difference, as I just put the empty space in the back (the cauldron was also the most difficult thing to put together in general. It was definitely easier to use glue). Most of the paper pieces are actually stickers, which made so much of the work go SO much faster. The way all the shelves go together is pretty cool, and makes it so you don't need glue, except to glue them in place once they're built. The kit does not come with glue, or tweezers (which would have been a helpful tool), but there is a little tool that punches out like the wood pieces that you can use to help punch out the smaller pieces. Many of the smaller pieces came with extras in case of breakage. When it comes to the instructions, well, they are pretty good considering, but I do think a few things were missing. I never figured out where I was supposed to put each light, and how to attach the touch sensor. It does work through the floor, but then you can't put the plexiglass on the front. So I threaded mine out the front, and taped it to the side, and used an extra frame piece and sticker to cover it up. A few tips: don't punch out the parts until you need them, have several square feet of workspace to spread out (I did not, and kept losing things), and get a narrow-tipped glue to work with. I was just using super glue, which worked fine, but it was messy because it didn't have a tip. I bet a lot of the stuff would work with like, glue dots or glue tape as well. I did as much of the small parts that didn't require glue first, then put the glued stuff together, but this did mean I was flipping back and forth a lot in the instruction book. All told, it took me about 5 hours to put together, and I am pretty happy with it.

A great gift 🎁
I had such a fun time putting this together! It took me roughly 4 hours to build. All the pieces were good quality. I was a little nervous because it's the kind you have to poke out but none broke! I will be purchasing more. It's definitely worth the money and would make an excellent gift! Just make sure to have crafter glue handy!

Worth every penny!
I’ve done a lot of these kits, and this one is top notch. The pieces popped out easily and they fit perfectly. I didn’t have to file any of them down or use glue to anchor them. I love the attention to detail and how cute everything is!

Took a lot of time to build but it was fun and the final result is amazing! The instructions are really easy to follow, and the material is of a good quality, although I was thanful for the backup pieces lol. Note that you'll need superglue (I used gorilla glue) as it is not included in the kit. Made it as a gift for someone, but I'll be ordering one for myself!

My wife had a blast building it. Careful of small parts like the neck of the violin/cello though.

I've made kits before and this one by far is more user-friendly. First of all the lights are already put together, so you don't have to strip any wires and connect anything yourself. Secondly, the majority of pieces are all pre-painted, so you don't have to cut and paste any images onto the wood, which can look messy. The pre-painted pieces give a much cleaner final product. It does have some small pieces that you need to be careful with, but they do include backups of the fragile ones in case you accidentally break a piece. The pieces all fit together nicely, just make sure you follow the instructions about which pieces to connect first. Overall, I really enjoyed this book nook and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Took about 20 hours to complete. The final product is very cute but those individual books are tough!

I'm still working on it, but it's fun and relaxing. Cheers!
