Convenient notebooks for those who like a little nostalgia!
Fantastic set of notebooks.Moleskine notepads already have a good reputation and until now I didn't really appreciate the difference in quality having stuck with the same tried and tested pocket books from cheaper places. Let me tell you, these notepads make writing a pleasure again. There is this idea that, In a modern, digital age we should be using our phones and tablets for most things and in a way, we do. I often find myself making notes on my phone than opting for a pen and paper.... Not any more! Now I have a Moleskine in my pocket! These are gorgeous little notebooks and I love using them. Even when it could be more convenient to use a phone I still opt for this. Not only is it a pleasure to write on, there is also a little sense of nostalgia. There's something different about taking out a pen and paper to take a number or jot down an idea, it almost separates us from the pack and I love it.Coupled with a great pen you won't go back. Small enough to keep in the front pocket of a pair of jeans or jacket pocket and, on some occasions, became quite the conversation starter. The cover looks great, the lined paper inside is great quality and I love the idea that the last few pages of each notebook are removable, great idea.

Great value, nicely surprised by paper quality.
Never used Moleskine before so these were a test. For the price, they are great value. Loads of pages and a convenient size for portable sketching or notes. The paper does feel a bit thin (70gsm ish) when compared to other brands, at first touch, but you get a nice smooth paper that can actually take a variety of mediums pretty well when directly compared to thicker paper stocks.Gives nice smooth ink lines with little bleed. Crisp edges to watercolour - just don't soak the page.Tested with the pentel pocket brush and there is little ghosting on the opposite page too.Takes pencil and erasing well.Recommended.

Great and very useful
I'm an advocate of Moleskine products, always liked them and always will. Their quality is second to none, they're professional and stylish but discrete. This is a great size and the plain paper is thick enough to use runnier inks too!

I bought these soft cover notebooks as an alternative to the heavier hardback Moleskine notebook I use, trying to reduce the weight of my work bag.I wish I'd come round to these sooner. They are a rich navy cover which has lovely soft texture and a great smell (surely I'm not the only one who sniffs these things). The paper is a lovely cream colour, thick enough to stop bleed through of most of my pens, including my inky Staedtler Triplus Fineliners.I would recommend these to anyone. They are ideal weight to carry around and are really good quality.

Very cute colours - be wary of the few pages though!
These books are so cute!I'd seen a picture of these books a while ago but was never able to find them again until now. For Moleskine books, they were very affordable - the colours are cute and true to the images shown and I'm glad to have received three.Pros:- Affordable - I got 3 for £5.99- Very pretty colours - a pastel lavender, pink and lemon yellow.- It's so hard to find plain notebooks nowadays and I finally did - and they're aesthetically pleasing to look at.Cons:- As I began working through the books, I started to realise why the were so cheap - there are barely any pages! Pretty ridiculous actually. I know Moleskine is starting to price their products due to their brand name now and not so much the quality in a lot of ways and this is evidence of that because there's barely enough pages in each book to call them notebooks. I don't think them being 'pocket-sized' or mini can excuse that.- The outside of each book is easily scratched and dirty since they're just made out of thick card paper and not plastic or wood like most full-sized notebooks. So in your pocket or the bottom of your bag, they are definitely going to get dirty.

Lovely little books, great for decorating
These were the loveliest little notebooks! Paper is great moleskine quality as usual and feel very nice. I love the fact half the pages are removable and the cover is a solid yet flexible card. It's the perfect for decorating as the texture is just right for use with most medias and there's no logo on the front to get in the way! I use washi tape and fineliners to draw on and personalise the covers and it looks great against the pastel colours. I wouldn't be able to do this on a leathery or hardback notebook of course, so that's what makes these little books special to me. Love them.
