If you’re a beginner and are looking for a decent magnetic cube, then this would be good for you. But the thing is, if you just go one speedcube.shop or The Cubicle, you could get a way better cube for a lower price. I would recommend doing that instead.

This is my first cube that could be considered a "speed cube." I'm mainly used to the original and current Rubik's cube for comparison. They can be a bit hard to manipulate some times. This one, however, is not. It's super easy to spin a side, and the hubs are adjustable, so if you want it stiffer like the original or more like a loose bag of marbles, you can find your sweet spot. I tightened mine up as I'm not used to these, and would need to improve my grip control before I loosen it.Mine measured about 55.5mm cube, so it's really close to the dimensions of the big brand name cube puzzle. Somehow it felt like it was smaller, but I think that it's a lighter weight. Tiny magnets in the inner edges help the sides lightly snap into place, which is important when you have a looser cube. The magnets only provide a light assist. You're not going to notice it when turning, other than that the cube is quicker to line up, making it ready for the next move. These also have rounded inner edges which make for easy turning all the way around. The cube has an almost elastic feel to it the way the springs are set up.The cube comes with a stand, a stubby Phillips-head for adjusting the hubs, and even some instructions on how to solve the cube. The instructions were surprisingly thorough and easy to read. Adjusting the hubs is straightforward. The hardest part is picking the hub covers off, but it's not bad.I bought this to replace the brand name one I wore out. This one has a completely different feel to it, but it's at least as satisfying. The colors are a bit more vivid, but I found myself adjusting to the different look quickly, and this was fun to play with. I found myself overshooting some turns, but that's sort of the point of a speed cube - it's something that takes more control but will reward you if you can. The price is right on this one. Your child or child of the 80s will appreciate it.

This feels like the fastest out of my 3 most recent cubes. I had forgotten it was magnetic and they are not visible, and somehow it felt like it was pulling itself into alignment. Then I realized that the magnets really do make a difference. I also love the matte or frosted finish. It just feels like it glides more. I don't know cubing terminology, but it's kind of has a dryer feel, where cubes that have more of a plasticky or gummy feel have a bit of initial friction that you need to overcome. This turns with very little effort. I think this is considered a budget cube but I think it compares to more expensive ones. It comes with a stand and adjustment tool as well. The colors seem standard, but personally I wish the yellow was a little darker because my old eyes have trouble distinguishing between white and yellow in very low light conditions, and I like to relax with the cube before bed lol. Very impressed with this cube, but cube technology has become so advanced recently you can't really go wrong. Literally everything is amazing compared to the original 80's Rubik's brand, and the world record times reflect that. I enjoy this very much, thank you.

Having a few speed cubes, this one is not that bad. It does have magnets in the corners but they're not all that strong. If you are used to using cubes with no magnets, this will make it hit that perfect spot a little easier. The colors are not stickers. They're part of the cube and it has a very smooth texture. It's not a bad cube at all. The problem I have is that the cube is that it's slightly smaller than the standard cube. The spacing between the pieces is much narrower as well. For someone with larger hands, it took a little getting used to compared to my other cubes but I'm sure if you have smaller hands, this may actually be a benefit. All in all, this is a nice cube for the price.

This is a great speed cube set for the price. The set comes with a nice 3x3 puzzle cube, a display stand, and an adjustment tool all for under $10. The puzzle cube is relatively well made and each magnetically guides into place. The cube turns quick and smooth while being on the looser side. This cube is stickerless, has a nice matte finish, and feels nice in the hands with distinct set of colors. This cube is even capable of corner cutting. The cube comes with an adjustment tool, but the caps are a bit difficult to remove for adjusting. I would highly recommend this to speed cubers or those interested in speed cubing! I would highly recommend this puzzle cube for beginners due to the low entry price with all of the essentials for a good speed cube!

It very smooth! I feel like I twisting and turning each of the sides of the cube like it made out of butter! I really like it as it is small and can easily put it in a bag or something and not worry about how much space is being taken up. I don't feel that much resistance when playing with it but do feel like it will soon break as i dropped it 3 or 4 times and that soon it might explode but at least it durable enough to last a few drops to the floor.
