Works great! I have a 4.5 Gallon (aka small) Ridgid shop vac, this fits perfectly. This product has a narrower-than-normal hose, which isn't good for sucking up big stuff, but it's small and flexible, perfect for connecting to woodworking tools for dust collection. It fits my trim router, jigsaw, and sander well.

I am using this as a powered sander dust collector for Sheetrock. Very fine powder and this unit vacuumed it all and dropped it in a bucket. This was a major mess and time saver. I will never sand without this again. If it’s this good on drywall compound dust, sawdust must be a breeze. Several fittings to help you connect it up with additional flexible sleeve's. Good price and great value, great solution works flawlessly.

I have a small but moderately powerful dust collection set-up in my workshop, and I wanted a longer hose to use with some attachments (like a floor sweep and a crevice wand) for general clean-up purposes. The fittings are easy to thread onto the hose, but the narrow diameter of the hose itself really restricts the airflow and loses a great deal of the suction power. If this were a larger diameter hose, it would be nearly perfect. I'll keep it around for other uses, but will need to find something else for the shop. EDIT: raised to four stars because we found that this hose perfectly fits the utility extension on our Bissell 9595A upright household vacuum, making it _much_ easier for vacuuming the stairs and other nooks and crannies around the house. Still need to find something more suitable for the workshop.

This item solved a very specific problem: I wanted to connect the highly portable DEWALT DCV501HB vacuum cleaner to the DEWALT dust extraction ports of various tools, for example, the DEWALT Dust Shroud (DWE46152) and the DEWALT Orbital Sander (DCW210B). To make this work, you also need the DEWALT DWV9000 Universal Tool Connector, which attaches to the dust extractors of DEWALT tools. This is where this product comes in. The quality is very reasonable: the hose and connector pieces feel adequately sturdy. The connectors are made of rubber and have a good balance of stiffness and flexibility (except for the "Shop Vacuum Tapered Plug-in Adaptor", which is made of plastic). So here the solution: the "Rubber Adaptor with Ribbed End" fits perfectly around the DCV501HB vacuum pipe, and the "Large Rubber Adaptor" fits just about perfectly into the DWV9000. I'm saying "just about perfectly" because you will need to squeeze the rubber a little bit to get it into the DWV9000, but once it's in, it's a very nice and tight fit. I also like the fact that you can cut the hose to the desired length and/or cut off a shorter piece for a shorter connection. I noticed that a short connection puts hardly any extra strain on the small vacuum, while the full hose length creates a bit of extra pull on the vacuum. Overall, I'm happy with this solution for using the DCV501HB with DEWALT's dust extraction system.

I ended up making (I have a metal lathe in my shop) adapters using PVC from the fittings supplied to the various pieces of equipment I have. What was supplied didn't fit with either my Craftsman or Rigid shop vacs, or my Bosch sander. One does fit, sort of, my small DeWalt router and my DeWalt biscut tool. I didn't pay enough attention to the description to note that the fittings only come in three sizes, not the 6 I'd anticipated. The "rubber" fittings are not flexable enough to adapt to anything even modistly different than the deminisions given.. Hose and ability to change end fittings is great.

I use this for my Makita Biscuit slot cutter. Real nice light hose that does not fall off. Love it, will not use any other power tool hose/fitting any more.

Hose connectors are confusing. Outside diameter, inside...argh! It was with much trepidation that I purchased this set. I needn't have worried. I have a cyclone-type sawdust collection system hooked up by hose to a cheap Shop Vac that I've had since the Pleistocene epoch. One of the flexible adapters fit into the unit perfectly! Two of the adapters are hard plastic. I gently tapped one into the sawdust tube of my portable table saw, and it fit perfectly! Ditto for the identical hard plastic adapter on my mitre saw. Another perfect fit! All of the remaining flexible adapters fit perfectly into my other power tools, with none left over. Now, my wife forbids me from purchasing any other power tools. Just kidding. The amount of sawdust a properly-fitting hose extracts is amazing! Before making this purchase, I was making do with placing a hose loosely in my power tools' sawdust tube. Very inefficient. Cleanup took longer than making cuts. Now, there is virtually no cleanup. Realise that the hose is rather narrow (not a bad thing) and must be screwed anti-clockwise into each connector. It takes some getting used to. I've made it easier by coiling the hose a couple of times with a removable strap. Kudos to Peachtree Woodworking for providing such an awesome kit!

Hose is not soft and flexible, it can kink. Also silicone flexible vacuum connectors does not create seal and keeps on sliding off once silicone connectors gets exposed to concrete dust from grinding concrete. Fixed adapters provided does not fit standard dewalt and makita grinder and makita track saws vacuum ports or Milwaukee’s compact router

I just purchased and used it with my palm sander. This is a deal maker right here. Absolutely no dust left anywhere. I should have purchased this years ago instead of living with that stupid dust collector attached to the sander. One of the adapters fit exactly into my vacuum. The adapter to the sander required a few layers of electrical tape on the sander outlet to get a good, snug fit, but what a difference. The hose has a real nice feel to it (not flimsy) and the adapters are also a nice solid rubber. And all for 1/3 the price of the brand name hose. You won't be disappointed.
