These are great for beginners. After several attempts I have yet to dull the tips or damage these any. Definitely gonna need some more practice.

These are durable spin -rotational throwing knives. They work best with soft wood end grain targets. They are close to7mm thick, which should be good for index finger release with no spin, but the weight at the tip end does not make for good throws with the no spin techniques. I wanted to like these much better for conventional no spin and BIM style throwing, but they are just too heavy at the blade end for good-consistent results. Rotational throwing was a bit disappointing,since the handle area is long, narrow, and too slick for a proper hold. However, these knives are great for half-spin throwing. Landing hits consistently at 15 ft is fairly simple when throwing instinctive half-spin. In summary, great half-spin throwing knives, but adequate full or rotational spin throwers. If you're looking for no-spin throwing knives, I'd look elsewhere, for something with more weight at the handle, and a sharper point.

I love these things! We take them with us when we go camping and try to see who can be more accurate! They are very sturdy and well made. Like seriously, you have to be careful with them because they have some heft to them! No sharp edge but the point is very dangerous!

Only thing that could be better is a more narrow tapered point. Not a sharp point but just more tapered for better penetration. Thats an easy fix . I could see myself buying more of these and thinning the tip with my grinder. Awesome knives for the price

I don't know if it's something that I'm doing wrong I've had no problem with other throwing knives but for some reason these just don't stick into my target

So for the style and design of these, the weight is well balanced and you can really chuck them hard without having to worry about breaking tips or cracking any kind of handle that might accompany a blade of this weight - I actually took mine to the grinder and “sharpened”, I didn’t take much weight out of the blade, but not they can stick really nicely now! - Your target may need to change if you’re using thinner plywood, or if you’re not able to “sharpen” them like I did, softer wood is your best choice! - I can see lots of benefit in these if you’re actually new to throwing, but as for the simplicity of the design, it does me a bit of room for me to customize it a little, especially considering the longevity that these things are gonna be around for! - 9.6/10 would get these again!

I am used to the lighter standard blade like type of throwing knives, but I am no expert, these are very heavy and solid made straight blade type knives that are really more traditional, It is taking some practice and change of technique to be passable with these, but they are well made and should take a beating and hopefully help me improve my skills.
