This is a good pellet. Comparing it to my previous bag of pellets, Pit Boss Competition Blend and Traegers Hickory. The Brisk It Oak pellets imparted a smokier note to my pork belly, with no bitterness and I also noticed there was less ash on my meat when I was spritzing it. My family noticed the difference immediately.The price is comparable to other major brands but I feel the end results are incomparable. Good smoky flavor and not feeling like you have to rinse off the ash on your meat before can you eat it.The smoked pork bellies with a dry rub was so good that we forgot to take a pic of the smoke ring. It got devoured as soon as I cut it up.

It burns ok, it cooks ok, price was ok I guess, but was surprised to see the label made in chine on the bag.

So far, I am happy with the Oak pellets I wanted to make my own blend wood chips are good but more expensive tried them on a couple of pork tenderloins and they turned out good. I am not done experimenting with the pellets, yet it takes a lot less to do the same job and I am using them in a propane gas smoker so far so good.
