Dog will devour if left unattended.
Item arrived with no damage. This is my go to brand for my three legged dog since he has too much weight on his front leg its a good healthy choice. He ate half a bag of these in one sitting and absolutely destroyed our living room. Spent days cleaning, but he loved it. Good quality, fresh, and doesn't smell foul.

Preferred by my dogs
This product has helped maintain my dogs weight well. They both like the taste and never hesitate to finish it. The price is amongst the best I can find for this food.

Poops were a bit TOO firm
My pup seemed to really like this food and it was recommended by my vet. It was working well for her sensitive digestion but we ended up having to swap from it because it ended up making her poop a bit TOO hard and black once she settled into it. Not tarry!! I want to emphasize that it didn't make her sick! Just hard and very dark poops. It just seemed to be too much fiber (and suchlike that's added for sturdier poops) for her in particular and she would have to strain a bit too much so vet recommended something else. So I wanted to leave that info for anyone who may have a dog who they already know is sensitive to that. I wouldn't have any qualms about trying another Purina Pro Plan recipe since she was doing well on it otherwise, but we're currently on a different food for some other stomach issues she's had and will likely stick to that as long as it's working for her.

My one eye Freddie LOVES this food. He has stomach issues and he is an old guy at 15 years old and he tolerates this very well. He has been on this food for almost 8 years.

My mini aussie loves this food, and has lost a few pounds he needed to lose.

My dachshunds do well on this food. They gain weight on everything else, even raw, even tiny amounts, but not this food. I think they feel fuller too because they aren't begging for food later like they were on raw. Very happy with this food and will continue to feed it and the adult rice formula.

Love proplan. I use this for my doodle who had pancreatitis. Switched from Royal canine gastrointestinal low fat to pro plan weight management for maintaining low fat diet

Great dog food

This dog food has been excellent at keeping my Labrador's weight consistent. He loves it and the shredded bits are excellent to use as treats, so therefore no need to buy additional treats. Labs can have sensitive stomachs, but this food has worked very well for our dog. As well, he uses it to maintain weight, not to reduce it. I highly recommend it. I love getting it delivered because the bag is very awkward and heavy.
