Pens are very good but why a very sticky label on EVERY pen.
I have used these pens for years and always buy in bulk, usually from tescos or an office supplier. For the first time ever every single pen came with a sticky bar code label which left the pen sticky and revolting when peeled off. Since one buys premium pens for comfort rather than price it made the puchase a waste of time.Cleaning them up took ages. I definitely will not be buying from this listing again.

Once great, now cheap and nasty
Paper mate brand, now a classic case of resting in their laurels. I've used these pens for years but regret recently buying two boxes of twelve. First, after only a few days the body frays (see photo). More importantly, they are nowhere near as smooth to write with and are patchy. In fact, they apply ink patchy to such an extent, it's like they are due to run out soon, straight from of the box.I'll not be buying these again.

Pesky sticky lable
Super pen, have used these for years. But why do they put a sticky label on each pen and assuming there is some good reason for that why do they use sticky stuff that doesn't completely come off with the label! If I had not very much liked these retractable pens they would have only got one star for having so stupid a manufacturer.

Glides like a dream
The media could not be loaded. As always this Paper Mate Flexi grip ultra glides along like a dream. It doesn't leak out ink as a good many other pens do. It's my go to writing tool.

Runs out in two days of use. Really disappointed!
I’ve been using these pens for years to do work-related paperwork and they’ve always been brilliant. However, this last box was really disappointing. I don’t know if the product has changed or if I got a dud box but each pen lasts me two days at work before the ink runs out. I hand write patient notes but currently that equates to about 15-20 pages of notes per pen. Compared with other pens, this makes them very poor value, especially as they’re on the more expensive side anyway. Other pens last me a good week or two so I won’t be ordering these again.

Annoying sticky residue!
The pens are fine, and what you’d expect for about a quid each. However, the most ANNOYING thing that makes every use of them a pain is that each j individual pen has a barcode label that inevitably comes off, and leaves a big slab of sticky residue which then sticks to your hand.

Last less than a week!
I am a post-grad student and write a lot. Flexigrip Ultra Retractable Ballpoint pens bought from other suppliers usually last quite some time. These are lucky to get through a week. They come in a box and are to the naked eye identical to others I have bought, but they are not the same. They do not write well and the ink runs out far too soon. I can only assume they are fake. Seems like a bargain at this price, but don't waste your money.

A staple for any home office
For longevity and practicality, you can't beat a papermate. I regularly buy a box of these just to have around the house and in my home office.I dont think I've ever actually had one of these run out on me. They just work, no fidgeting like some pens that you need to scribble for a bit before they'll work.My only gripe is that the top can be weirdly attached sometimes, so that a little pressure causes it to pop out and need re-screwed on, but it's a minor fault.
