Good, sturdy, short wellies
These are basically wellies with the legs missing, so no rocket science, but they're great for slipping on for a quick nip out into the back garden, or to take the bins out, etc. They're (obviously) waterproof and quick to put on, so no faffing about with laces when you're just going to be 2 minutes. I had some 'croc' style garden shoes before, but they were (1) too light, so you couldn't shake them off easily and got muddy hands having to manually remove them, (2) not very hard-wearing and wore through / leaked, (3) too low at the back, so my sock heels would get wet from the grass when putting the washing out. I personally prefer the solid weight to these. They have a good, solid, grippy rubber sole. They are (like most wellies) a little over-size on my feet in normal socks, but not overly so - they're not going to fall-off, or flop-about or anything and there's room for thick socks if you prefer. I haven't had them long, so I can't speak to longevity, but they certainly look and fell like they'll last a good while in sensible use. Good price, too.

Dunlop Garden Shoe
Good quality, so gave 4 stars, however had to returned these shoes as they were too loose round my ankles so tended to slip off, even though the size was good and good for price

Solid, great fit, essential.
Wish I’d bought these sooner! I’ve just been using old trainers/ shoes to nip outside to the garage or do light gardening. On my last pair of trainers for outdoor use l the soles have completely gone and not very waterproof. These Dunlop Welly Shoes definitely do the job! They’re solid construction, easy enough to take on and off though could be easier with clogs but then you’d not have the heel support in a slopey garden. They’re very grippy and a thick sole means these should last a long time! I have put some old trainer insoles in though as without; the feeling underfoot was quite harsh. Waterproof just like boots and having had them for 3 months they’re wearing very well. I’ll not go back to old trainers after these they do the job so well! These are my usual shoe size, I did try a size lower but too snug. This size allowed for a thin insole and wearing thick sports socks as usual they fit nicely, roomy but not sloppy.

Practical and robust
So useful, should have bought a pair long ago. Good strong quality and comfortable to wear.

Limited lifespan.
Very good fit and comfortable. However, these only seem to last for 2 years before they split at the heel. Not made to last.

Practical for a potter around the garden to do pruning but not for digging.
Having had something similar to these a few years ago, I ordered a half size bigger than my foot size (7.5) as it is best to wear these with some thick but breathable socks ( ski socks are ideal) in the winter, not std socks. The shoe would be too loose to wear with std socks. Stops you banging your toes around the house and in the garden they are sturdy enough ( bit like the cut off bottom of a welly) with thick treads. They are also waterproof around the base ( obviously not around the ankle) and stop you getting any thorns in your feet. I would not advise them for doing say cement mixing if you were laying a strip foundation for a greenhouse - you need sturdy rigger boots for that kind of work. I wear them around the house first thing in the morning until I need to go out and change into my proper walking shoes. ie they are not suitable for trekking nor hiking only around the garden. I would also not advise them to be used whilst driving - dangerous as they could slip off the feet and pedals. All in all a good sturdy practical clog for the garden except not digging.

Good garden shoes
Very quick prompt delivery. I think it was a prime delivery. I love Amazon's rapid delivery! Coming to the product itself, here's my pros & cons list to make it easier to decide for yourselves. Pros: 1. Waterproof (provided you don't get water over the inlet!) 2. Grip seems to be decent for the job. 3. Feels premium, thick, and safe to walk over thorns. 4. Easy to slip on & off 5. Exact size, just pick your usual shoe size 6. Washable exterior (didn't try washing the interior) Cons: 1. The soles are not soft. If you are used to a soft sole (like memory foam) then this may not be right for you. It feels like walking on bare ground, very hard soles. This is ok if you only spend a short time gardening, but not ideal for longer hours. 2. It's quite heavy
