I really wasn’t expecting much from this product, considering its price point, so I was pleasantly surprised the first time I tested it out. For a few minutes I was feeling all Seal Team Six like.I live on a dead end road that is surrounded by trees. It’s not common to hear things go crashing through the woods at night while walking the dogs. I’m usually not concerned with what it is, yet at times I’m also a little bit curious. This is where night vision devices come in.I found these binoculars easy to operate, ergonomically correct let’s say. Its construction is acceptable. The buttons to operate the various options are located on top and I found them easy to operate, once I figured what was what. The only thing to adjust is the lens for clarity.If you're curious about night time vision products yet you're not thrilled about shelling out hundreds of dollars (maybe thousands) then this product might be for you. It has acceptable performance, is feature rich and comes with all the necessary accessories. This evaluation is based on my short term use, should I encounter issues later on, I'll post an updated review. Until then try turning night time into day time.

Now only 79$These night vision goggles are kind of a mix bag for me.The build: This unit is made of mid grade plastic and some rubber for the twist focus knob and face peace. The buttons also feature a rubber like texture that does feel nice and durable. The IR sensor is good quality since you can't even see it with the naked eye. The focus is smooth and easily adjustable. There is also a 5x digital zoom. It works well enough yet lacks sharpness at the end of it's focal length. Witch is to be expected at this price point. But still gets the job done and works well even in total darkness. Just keep in mind you must adjust the focus manually to get it just right. There are also 7 IR lumen outputs that can be adjusted on the fly. Witch is a nice touch for an under 100$ NVG.Accessories:1 neck strap1 shoulder strap1 32gb TF card1 USB TF card reader1 microfibre cloth for cleaning your lensesYou can use these to record video and take photos with the 32gb TF card that's pre-installed inside the product. This is a nice addition at this price point. They've also included a usb TF card reader that you can pair with your PC, or MAC to download your files.The flaws: I cannot understand the design of putting the screen so far back into the housing. Leaving a dark hole to look through. The concept is flawed on many levels. Since the screen is so small to begin with it just makes it look even tinier. The resolution is also lacking so its difficult to read text. The menus are also low contrast. Light grey on a white text. Isn't the smartest choice for the O.S system.The button layout is kind of awkward since all of them have multi functionality. So reading your instruction manual is a must. To get the best experience with this product.Final thoughts: For those looking for an entry level NVG unit. That has many features and accessories. These might be a step in the right direction. Take them camping or hiking. Use them to surveil your yard incognito. For the price I say give them a try.

Price for this tech is fair IMO after getting comfortable with its capabilities.The hight vision is similar to night vision of a middle of the road security camera using IR spot light. In dim light the natural full colour sensitivity is also good maybe much better than a typical security cam in poor light.Conclude this device works very well.Pics and vid to follow in an update - but I wanted to get this message out, despite the cheesy oversized plastic, it's similarity to a kid's cam "core", it's substandard straps and mishmash of carry bag(s) - is works well.I'm thinking USB cables to a PC as a web cam with a bigger screen may be the way to go. Test results to come.Notable so far:Default fixed optical zoom is makes objects appear closer, then the digital zoom goes the rest of the way.Manual focus ring on the left lense. Use this control as soon as the unit is powered on!!The IR spot has an intensity adjustment but I found I couldn't get the intensity low enough to reduce white glare and to improve the contrast.Do not walk while looking though these binoculars.The lower edge of the view finder is rigid and hard on the bridge of the nose, as compared with the supple rubber of the eyebrow ridge.
