Tunebelt AB84 Black Sport Armband for iPhone 4 Otterbox Defender Series Case + other Otterbox Cases

My husband bought me a HTC Desire phone with a 16gb memory card and Otterbox Defender phone cover. It was gjust the thing for taking with me to the gym or out for a run, but I had just one problem - my armband was too small to take the phone (it was for a Samsung YP-Q2 mp3 player).As it was close to Christmas, I dropped a few hints to my husband that I needed a new armband for my phone, so he got me this as part of my pressie.I have to say this armband is ideal. It is made to a very high quality. The phone fits snugly inside, even with the cover on, so no fear of it jumping out when I'm running. The headphone cable loop is a good idea as well. My cable doesnt get snagged anymore (I don't know how many pairs of headphones have broken on me because of cable snagging). My husband said he had read reviews where people had said the armband itself was too short and an extension band was required, but mine fitted no problem. It is a little bit more expensive than other similar armbands but it gives me peace of mind that I can still keep my phone in its protective cover while using it, so the extra couple of pounds was well worth it for that.I am now happily using it for all my activities. This is an armband I would highly recommend for any users of Otterbox phone covers.

This armband takes my iPhone without removing the Otterbox case, thereby saving a lot of hassle. Its a tight fit and takes a bit of persuasion to get the phone in - but that makes it secure. Quality feel to the cut and stitching. The fit on the arm is secure and comfortable through a vigorous cycle ride and showed no sign of slipping or loosening of the velcro (I forget I was wearing!). Trying to use the touch screen through the plastic cover is a bit hit and miss - but the basic function of answering or making a call is fine. I can see this will be a part of my standard cycling kit till I upgrade to a phone that doesn't fit.

Chose this after a friend showed me the Tunebelt armband he'd got for his Desire HD. I wanted one that would take my Sensation XE with a 'Casemate Barely There' protective case on it. When I saw this advertised as being able to take a Phone complete with an Otterbox Defender case on, I knew this was worth a try. (Otterbox Defender cases are good but reasonably bulky).When it came I was suitably pleased, both with the quality and the fit, Perfect.... not too tight, but able to hold the SXE securely with the case on. The plastic screen cover still allows access to the phone touch screen functions. It even has a velcro strap to hold your earphone spare cable tidy. Users should be aware that the armband length is not very generous, those with big biceps or want to use it over a coat sleeve will need to buy the extender strap that is offered on various sites, inc Amazon. Overall though I'm quite happy with my purchase, but haven't put it to any real test. PS this does not appear to be a waterproof product, just water-resistant (light shower).Not the cheapest on the market, but it does what I need it to do....

I got this to use with my iPhone. I do not have an Otterbox case, but it doesn't matter...I can still use it with the case on my iPhone with no issue It sits firmly in the armband while I run. I love this! With my last armband I had to keep taking my phone out of it's case. No more. I like that it's adjustable in fit, that the phone slides in and is neatly tucked right into the armband, and that you can use your phone going in either direction as there are wholes on one side and the area you slide it in on the other - thus it accomodates my headphones either way. The strap to tuck your excess headphone wire is a lovely addition.

Just got this armband, and it's perfect for my iPhone with a Lifeproof case. I didn't want to invest a lot of money on the official Lifeproof armband, which also looked strangely plastic and uncomfortable, and this armband seemed to be the only one that would fit an iPhone with a thick, solid case. It very snugly fits a Lifeproof case. I wouldn't mind if it had a bit of extra space at the top, but it's good enough.Strangely, as one other reviewer says, there is no hole on top to plug the earphones in. You can cut your own hole or just push the top of the case aside to plug in. But this is an odd feature to be missing.This is definitely one of the shortest armbands I have seen, which for me is perfect because I always struggle with armbands being too long. I don't have skinny arms, but it always seems that many of these armbands are designed with larger arms in mind. Any men looking to purchase this armband will probably want to get the extension, unless you have extremely thin arms.

very pleased, My HTC Desire with Otterbox Defender case fits Tunebelt AB84 perfectly, use my HTC Desire with Garmin connect software that cost 69p so far very good, I personally dont find the weight strapped to my arm a problem. feels very secure

I usually look at the reviews and gauge the quality of the item by comparing the overall positive to negative ratings. In this case (sorry, no pun intended,) the overwhelming number of 5-star (460+) to 1-star (25) ratings gave me a pretty good idea that this was indeed a good product. It arrived yesterday within 2 days (as promised by Amazon.) I immediately took my Otterbox Defender protected iPhone 5c and popped it in. It was snug, but not difficult (somewhat akin to putting on tube socks.) In my mind, snug is a good thing...it prevents flopping around during my workout/run. The holes at the bottom for earphone jack, lightning connector, and microphone were perfectly aligned, and I had absolutely no trouble using my earphone. Fit and comfort were great, as the neoprene material is soft and doesn't chafe, and the band is stretchy enough to hold the phone comfortably to my arm without turning my fingernails blue. This morning I used it on a short (3.5 mi) run, and it worked flawlessly. Once I adjusted the strap, it stayed where I put it. I could also use the touch screen through the plastic, but it requires more pressure (to me this is obvious.) I had no trouble starting my RunKeeper app. I found it easier to get everything ready to go first, put it on, then press the start button. Adjusting the volume using the side buttons is a little hard since the case material is thick, and you have the Otterbox covering them as well, so your best bet is use the slide bar on the phone screen. Since it sits high on your arm, it is awkward if you like to look at your screen a lot. For me, I just press start, listen to my music at a decent volume, and chug along. I guess if I had to answer the phone, I could always stop (and get off the road/path) to finish my conversation. Then again, why interrupt your run by talking on the phone? If anything changes (i.e. Velcro stops working, material tears, stitching becomes loose/undone, etc.,) I'll post an update. Until then, it gets 5 stars.

Die Verarbeitung des Armbands und der zugehörige Klettverschluss wirken hochwertig und lassen auf eine langfristige Haltbarkeit hoffen. Bislang bin ich bei Wind und Wetter knapp 150 km gelaufen und es zeigen sich noch keine Abnutzungserscheinungen.Wenn man das Armband direkt auf dem Arm oder dem T-Shirt trägt, dürften die meisten Männer, welche nicht gerade den Spitznamen Hulk oder He-Man besitzen, keine Probleme mit der Befestigung haben. Enger wird es schon, wenn man bei der derzeitigen kalten Witterung das Armband über der Jacke oder über der Trainingsjacke tragen möchte. Jedoch hält der Klettverschluss auch gut, wenn er nur ca. 1/4 bis 1/5 der Klettfläche benutzt, so dass dies bei mir keine Beeinträchtigung darstellt.Die Lieferung (aus England ?) erfolgte ebenfalls in der angegebenen Frist.Alles in allem handelt sich um ein Produkt, das einhält was der Verkäufer verspricht, so dass ich eine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen kann.

I have my iPhone 5S in the Tech 21 Impact Mesh case. Inside the sleeve of the armband, the functions of my phone are accessible, except Touch ID. I enjoy the convenience of effortlessly sliding my phone into the sleeve with it fitting securely inside. I can just as easily remove my phone from the sleeve, when the armband is not around my arm. There is even some spare room to slip cash and/or a credit card inside as well. Even without filling it up, my phone will not move around. Because once the arm strap is tightened, my phone seats flush with my arm.Any holder that will not keep your phone and contents secure will cause excessive friction, which will wear down materials prematurely at points of contact. I expect this armband will serve me well for awhile. It's sturdy and light, and it doesn't get soggy from perspiration.I ran an inaugural 10K with my new armband, and it performed nicely. No fussing around, I could just focus on enjoying my run. I did not run with earbuds, so I can't review the strap that holds the excess wire. Dieses Armband ist super passend für das SGS 2. Ich habe eine Silikon Schutzhülle auf der Rückseite. Auch damit passt es ohne Probleme in das Armband. Lässt sich einfach rein und wieder raus nehmen. Habe mir dieses Armband gekauft aufgrund der positiven Feedbacks zur Größe. Hab nämlich keine Lust jedes mal die Schutzhülle zu entfernen bevor ich das Armband benutzen kann. Und ich muß sagen es ist noch viel zusätzlicher Platz vorhanden, so dass es auch mit größeren Schutzhüllen kein Problem geben sollte.Den ersten Test beim Outdoortraining hat es auch mit Bravur bestanden. Bei 30°C und direkt auf der Haut ist das Telefon trocken geblieben, obwohl das Armband selbst ziemlich feucht war.Die Passform am Arm ist auch super, habe fast nicht bemerkt das ich das Armband trage. Auch rutschen tut hier nichts.Die Bedienbarkeit ist auch ohne Probleme durch die Folie möglich. Ich habe zudem noch eine Schutzfolie auf dem Display und es funktioniert trotzdem ohne Probleme.

Solid product for the money. I use iPhone 5S with Otterbox. This gets the job done.Pros:1. This armband fits Otterbox.2. The side tab that you can wrap excess wire around is great! it's noticeable if you don't have the velcro tab after having used it on this.3. Comfortable- the entire thing is soft mesh and fits well with little irritation or notice. I run with this and usually use it for about two hours. I haven't had any problems with fit, rub, or irritation yet.Cons:1. There is some play with the plastic cover which requires more attention if you are going to touch the screen through the plastic cover.2. Otter box cases have a cover over headphone ports at the bottom of the iPhone. There are holes along the bottom of the armband case in order to find the audio port on the phone in use, but it's really annoying to get the otter box audio port cover out of the way when it's inside this armband. But once you connect your headphones through the armband it's no big deal. Minor issue.3. There is not really a barrier from perspiration absorbed through the armband. At the end of my 1-2 hour runs, the case on my phone has moisture on it. It has not been an issue with fogging the cover or the screen, but i'm using this on a warm tropical island. I'm not sure if it would fog in a cooler climate.Overall, this is a good product and i'm glad i purchased it. It's great for the money and convenience! Here's to comfortable running with good tunes!
