If you’re using M12 tools, this is a must-have accessory.
This magnetic bit holder has quickly become one of my go-to accessories for my Milwaukee M12 tools. The magnet is strong enough to hold bits securely during heavy-duty tasks, but not so strong that swapping bits is a hassle. It feels durable and well-made, with a solid metal construction that stands up to frequent use. Using it has made my work much faster — no more dropped or lost screws, and the holder keeps everything right where I need it. It’s compact, easy to handle, and fits perfectly with the M12 drivers.

Good product, lot of features, and matches the M12 driver perfectly!
So far very stoked on this bit holder/magnet! Actually quite impressed with the magnets. They are even holding the double sided bits quite well which I like to keep on my M12 as it's my go to for quick fixes that I leave in my truck at all times. You can see in the video I can't even shake them out despite not having a full hex head contacting the magnets. I also love the side magnet I put about a dozen 1.5" deck screws on there while disassembling something and didn't lose one! It's quite low profile and hasn't really gotten in the way at all. Time will tell how well it holds up but so far I gotta give it five stars. One note below about an issue that may or may not be resolved yet between Amazon and the seller. I had a bit of trouble getting the right model for my Gen3 M12 impact driver due some issues with Amazon mis labeling some of the stock. Just be careful if you order the BLACK Gen3 M12 for RIGHT side you may get the wrong one instead you may get the one for Gen2 which won't work on a Gen3 driver. I went back and forth with Amazon doing a return and getting the wrong one again despite sending a message to make sure they sent the Gen3. After this they promised me it would be ok, it's fixed, go ahead and order again. Well again it was the wrong one sent. I returned the third one and had given up, but then got to talk to Simon the owner, and he straightened everything out for me. I ended up going with the Red which was not having issues with fulfillment and I'm actually really pleased with how well it matches the red driver.

Upgrade your drill!
I definitely consider this an upgrade to my impact as well as my hammer drill. I’ve got a combo of this unit on one side then the magnetic bit holder (also from Simon tools) on the other side. Super useful combination, six bits should cover most things I encounter on the one side, then screws and drill bits on the other side (see pic). The plastic construction on the unit is pretty tough with a rubberized magnetic section (magnet is little weak). The rubber magnetic patch will hold a number of loose screws as well. The magnets in the slots are very strong, no worries about tips coming out. I really love not having to grab a box of tips when I need my drill for something. I keep a couple of adapters, Phillips, and a torx bit in there.. maybe a slotted. It’s become one of those tools you can’t imagine not having. Just an extension of the drill. I read where someone wrote that the drill becomes top heavy. I haven’t had that issue myself and I thought I would. The drills having remained fairly balanced. Full disclosure I am using the larger bottom batteries, 3.0 and higher I believe.. that helps balance the drill. I’m a new fan of Simon Tools!

Good quality
I like the concept but ended up removing it from my impact as it would hang up on things

Must have for m12 1/4 impact gen 2!!!!
Fits 💯 better then other options!!! No issues with 1/4 bits going on or out. The little magnets stay in and don't pull out like other brands. If you have a m12 impact gen 2 get this !!!!

Great addition to my impact.
This fits and looks like it belongs on my impact. It's perfect to hold the attachments I use most frequently without having to go back to the box every time. The screw holder magnet is a little bit too weak to be a reliable holding spot for my screws though, unfortunately, unless they are tiny and youre not vibrating it too much, which I tend to. Also, the glue holding in the magnets is not that great.. I had one magnet (so far) pop out when impacting, and it is not that easy to get back in its hole because the magnets around it pull it sideways. I have seen that on other reviews as well, maybe the manufacturer could take that into account and improve it. I would take it down a star for that, but it wasnt THAT big of a hassle, and I still really like it and overall feel it's 5 stars. Besides that, they are strong magnets and can hold a 3/8 drive adaptor with a socket on it. Handy piece of equipment. Be sure you don't let rust fall in there though because it's hard to get out and makes the magnets not stick as well.

<< BE CAREFUL INSTALLING!! >> ||. This bit holder ruined my brand new M12 impact
Firstly, I've bought four of these and have them on three of my m12 drill/impacts. They are amazing, and my favorite bit attached bit holder, they are a joy to use, great design and well made.....mostly. I've put them on, taken them off, swapped them several times, lots of experience with them. Recently I had to replace my M12 impact and drill, so I purchased another 2 pack of the simon bit holders to install. Unfortunately as I was installing the holder on my impact the screw broke, leaving the post in the threaded insert. I hadn't even got the screw seated, it was not overtightened. Keep in mind the supplied screws have a dab of threadlock on them, which is great, if the screw stays in one piece. I tried to get a grip on it with a small set of pliers to back it out but there just wasn't enough sticking out. Next I tried screw extractors, again couldn't get a good bite on it. Tried to carefully drill out the post, but at last nothing worked. This is a BRAND NEW impact, I pulled it out of the box moments before installing the also brand new bit holder. I have others that are over a year old and have been on and off several times. Not sure if they are using different screws now or it could very well just be a bad one. Either way I now have a brand new impact with a ruined attachment point, didn't even get to use it yet. Super disappointing. BEWARE! Don't ruin your tools. I would like to message the seller directly but cant find their contact info. Hopefully it was just one bad screw.

Pretty cool!
This accessory is pretty neat. It holds several bits to avoid wasting time searching for the right one, without taking up too much space. The M12 impact is a small, lightweight tool that I keep on me all day for most tasks, and this device maximizes its efficiency. There is a magnet that can hold a few screws. It’s not super strong, but can hold 4-5 drywall screws to get a sheet started. Some small bits, like the T-20 and drywall bit, can be challenging to remove, and occasionally the holder gets in the way in tight spaces, but those are the only downsides. It’s easy to install and remove. I also have an M12 hammer drill; it looks like this would fit on that as well if you shave off the small tab at the top of the back, but maybe there is a better option for that drill. Overall, very happy with it after 6 months.
