Healthy Rabbit!
I have been feeding this brand to my Mini Rex for a year and have had zero issues. Vet has said he has the healthiest coat and is the best taken care of rabbit he had ever seen. Broken down pieces at the bottom of the box are great to incorporate into a snuffle mat or toy! Just be cautious with the dust. It is not very soft at all, though, again , I have had no issues with it and my bun loves it. It can seem like it isn't fresh, but I believe people are forgetting that this is Timothy GRASS not Timothy hay. This 9 lb. box is much cheaper than other brands selling the same amount, too. It is usually filled fully to the top and lasts quite a while.

The rabbits say it's awesome, and I'll take their word for it.
We've been getting Standlee for quite some time because the rabbits just love their first cut timothy hay and can't wait for me to put fresh hay down for them. If you have rabbits, you know getting them to eat hay is a major win as well as a necessity. We've tried other brands and other types of hay, but nothing is quite as popular as this with the bunnies. Because it's first cut, it's got tops, which the bunnies enjoy, and it's a rougher cut that helps prevent things like stasis. It may be a bit much for the price, compared to my friends who buy hay locally, but I've never found anything locally that matches it in quality.

Hard, dry hay
Nota fan of this hay, its very hard and dry, my guinea pigs don't really like it. My normal hay was unavailable and decided to try this but won't buy again.

First 9lb- “ Standlee “
I have had terrible experiences with ALL brands of Timothy hay My opinion & experiences are that; Stand-lee hay~ was always the best! As we all know~ things have changed over the last couple decades So, I’d say this hay is as good as it gets I just ordered it again My earlier review was negative because consistency in anything doesn’t measure up to my standards of OCD. plus Guinea pigs are very changeable with likes and not liking weeks later. My frustration and “perfectionism” got the best of me Good hay ~ yay

horrible quality
brown, dry and dusty hay. would not reocmmend. I've been buying hay for 7 years since i've had guinea pigs and this is the worst hay i've purchased/seen. seller gave me a lot of trouble with the return also. she would reply with one sentence every 7 days. stay away from

Nothing special about this
It is essentially a flake of hay from a bail. It is extremely coarse, not particularly green And my guinea pigs are not interested in it at all. Pretty much expensive bedding.

Garbage full of stems!!!
This was crap hat my full of dangerous eye injuring sharp stems. Unsafe for small mammals. I had to call for a refund. Giving the unusable stuff to local wild animals.
