These are really lovely 'artificial' candles and look so realistic. It's only when you go right up to them that you notice that the flame is not real! I am really pleased with them and they are great value for the price paid. Make sure you have plenty of new AA batteries to hand though as each one requires two. Have yet to find out how long the batteries last. The remote control works well and is an added bonus!

Great natural looking flickering candles. Bought 2 sets in Dec. 2017 and still working fine in 2023 The casing of the candles are made of a kind of wax which make them look so natural. But don't do as I did - leave one on the windowsill in sunlight - it bent over like a real candle would do. Use good quality rechargeable batteries.

These are great fun because you get two remote controllers. So when your partner turns them on, you can turn them off. Yay.... Candle wars.Seriously, these are excellent quality. They perform well and the flicker effect is really good. We bought these for Christmas (obviously), I am now thinking of getting them back out of the loft to use at night to save on electricity. A good variety of sizes and when they are all switched on they provide a really cozy atmosphere. A bargain.

My candle-loving family were initially horrified that I had bought 'fake electric' ones. Two days after they arrived however, we had a power cut most of the day and into night time. I was allowed to deploy these candles around the living room and they won my family over. Once put in 'candle' (flicker) mode on maximum brightness they are very realistic. They are still considerably dimmer than a real candle and work best as decorative rather than useful light sources. However the convenience of the remote control (two remotes supplied in this 9-candle pack) adds huge value.Do get a stash of Amazon basics rechargeable AA batteries (2 per candle) and an 8-gang charger. 2500mah cells should last 300 hrs use on constant (e.g. 100 days at 3hrs/day) and even more on flicker. Note that if you put them all together and start the flicker effect from the reomote, they initially flicker in unison! Soone their timings drift and the overall effect is stunning.The outers are genuine wax but the base houses the plastic battery door preventing their use on spiked candle holders.I took one star off ease of use simply because several presses of the remote control function are required to reach all the candles - a very minor niggle.Very pleased with my purchase. No more candle smoke at bed time or spilt wax on the furniture or carpet!

The lighting optionsbare great. You hlcan have light or candle light which you change using the remote that comes with it. In fact you get two controls and 9 varying sizes of candles. I have split them up and used two sets of 3, set of 2 and one on its own. There are timer options of 2hr 4 and 6hr and you can set this on the remote. I can go around using the remote and it still works with them being seperated. I noticed the next day they came on without prompting which I liked. It must have recalled it from the day before but im not sure if this is a solid feature. I just use cheap batteries in them and they have lasted well. The colour is warm and provides comfort in any room. The sizes are great and graduated. 6 are the same size hence me splitting then up so it looked nice. I would buy again and it is great value for money. Greated for a gift too.

I received a used product, sold as new! the second candle I opened already contained batteries which have unfortunately leaked.

These candles are excellent , they feel realistic , wax surface really good. Nice range of sizes , we used six for a table decoration , it’s not the best photo but all I had with out people in it. We use three for a mirror collection. We are delighted with them excellent quality, the remote is just wonderful so easy to use and the ability to have a still flame or a realistic flicker is great. You have to remember these are what they are as in fake candies , but they are a superior brand . We would highly recommend and will be buying again.
