This is a very high quality gate system. The gate rams are heavy duty. They have supplied everything you need to install the openers. Easy install if you just read the instructions. They are pretty straight forward. Gates open and close quickly. I replaced a MM system that did not last very long. All kinds of electronic problems with the system. This is a far superior system. I’m glad I took the leap and purchased this brand. Way cheap in cost than the MM system it replaced. Can’t say enough good about this opener system. Don’t hesitate to buy if you’re thinking about it. Just do it and you won’t be sorry I promise

I received my order fairly quickly and in great condition. I left for an extended vacation before I had time to install the opener so that is the reason for the delayed review. I installed the opener using the hardware that came with the opener. All heavy duty and lots of varying ways to install according to my particular requirements. The only hard part was the programming. The opener comes with several ways to program for push to open or pull to open. Also in case you have a model using 2 openers. The installation manual was somewhat difficult to understand as the symbols in the manual doesn’t always match the digital readout. ( this was indicated in other customer reviews) I contacted customer support y e mail as that is the only to talk with them, I was pleasantly surprised that they got back with me the next day. I explained where I was and what I needed. They e mailed back to me with a precise set of clear instructions. Once I followed up the programming, my gate worked perfectly. My gate has been performing well over a month now and I am very pleased with the purchase. The reason I gave it a high score even though I think the instruction manual needs to be rewritten more clearly is due to the fact they followed up so quickly and made sure that everything worked to my satisfaction.

This is actually very funny . It turns out that I have been trying to install this kit for two days ( about 14 hours of hard work) . So , product installation support was so limited that Amazon gave me a phone number to call . I called, and they were even more clueless. I couldn’t even understand what they were saying. The later I received a call for doctors appointment agency in California to confirm an appointment. I told them that Amazon gave that number for the gate opener company installation support . They told me then , that that agency was also doing that service. So I followed all the instructions step by step . And my gate (7 feet long) would only open to 65% , way less than the 90 degrees I needed . So I kept adjusting the system’s arms. So I adjusted it by opening to 90 degrees. Then it would only close leaving an opening of 25% . It turns out that the shaft travel (only 12.75 inches) is impossible to open the gate to 90 degrees. So , it is true , it is a gate opener , but only to 65% :) . Thank God that Amazon has their great return policy , and I was able to return it .

update november 2025. After posting my review, customer service send me an email, offering any help if needed. A while later a lightning strike hit very close to the gate, distroying the transformer and PCB. (printed circuit board). I contacted customer service for help (the gate motors are still well) to purchase new parts. All the time they were helpfull and responded very quickly. The even created at Amazon's a special entry to only purchase the destoyed items. They also charged a surprisingly comfortable price and shipped it quickly! Me, and my client, are very happy with this seller! This is excellent client care! Software glitches. In the last month two glitches, first time: both doors wouldn't close, and the other time: only one door opened. No reason that explains this behavior and no error messages on the display. Solution: a reset by disconnecting the power, waiting for 10 seconds and than reconnect the power. After reset; problem solved. Apart from the glitches the opener works well. But this kind of glitches shouldn't be there in todays electronics.

Works great, just wish the programming was a little bit easier.

The gate opener is quiet... and it came with all the hardware needed for installation. It comes pre-set with Auto-close in 15 seconds... and I'm trying to figure out how to turn that off. For now... I was able to set Auto-close in 90 seconds. Both remotes came pre-programmed.... I used to own a Mighty Mule gate opener... but I have to say: This is more compact, and quieter :) Installation took 5 hours... I love the key feature... that let's you unlock the actuators if needed.

Had someone install, Seemed to be easy for him to install and adjust, had to buy a few extra parts- still need to be adjusted for remote access - I hope it lasts a long time with us having so many windy and high wind days and nights; sometimes heavy snow days.

I had bought this to save a hundred bucks off my standard units, who shall remain nameless but their initials start with MM. As a result, I was just trying to "retrofit" the gate to install this unit, which ultimately took me a while having short afternoons this time of year.. My issues: 1. I didn't happen to catch, if it was ever mentioned, that these are only 120v, with a possibility of 24v... That's problematic out in the pasture. I usually use a 12v automotive battery, I just had to buy two big deer-feeder batteries to run it, and an extra solar panel to couple to provide 24v recharging.. Add $70 to my net expense for the change. 2. stroke length is quite short by comparison: that likely won't be an issue on the standard pull-to-open, but on my current application I can't have the opener inside the fence where the cows will chew on it, so I opted for the "push to open": once you put the "standoff" mount to allow the opener to clear the gate on that type of installation, it really needs some more stroke to it: it's only opening the gate about 3/5 of what would be optimal, and I don't really know of any way to fix it right now; the geometry just isn't working.. 3. Yes, it's slow. My wife always complains about how slow the other units I'm running are, fortunately she doesn't often go through this gate or I'd never hear the end of it.. 4. programming: fairly simple, just somewhat confusing at times in the manual. Standard chinese to english problems there, it seems. 5. I do like the keyed "disconnect" so you can open the gate when it's not working... That will be handy, I'm sure. Right now, it seems to be working, but in hindsight I honestly wish I had gone ahead and sprung for the extra money and go back with plan A: I am running several units, and replace maybe one every year or two, I won't be getting another of these in all likelihood, mainly as a result of #1 and #2 above.. we'll see how it holds up, so far so good.
