Columbia Sportswear Women's Saturday Trail II Plaid Shorts

I love these shorts. Ive bought a couple pairs and wear them hiking all the time. Here's what you need to know, however, before ordering. I'm 5'6", 128. I wear a size 6 pant. In these, a 10! Order up! Also, the waist is low and the legs are cut narrow. They are a more contemporary cut, in other words. Perfect ffor me but may not be for everyone. The stretch is nice but somewhat minimal. The plaid is subtle. They hold up very well.

I wear a size 10 for a comfortable fit and these were too small on the waist. I loved the way they fit my butt and legs but there is absolutely no stretch in the waist. Not sure if I will try a size up or not.

Let me start by saying I love Columbia clothes which is why I gave it two stars. I have multiple pairs of pants and shorts and they have all been great. Part of that is multiple pairs of the original Saturday Trail shorts. Unfortunately, these are not the same. The biggest problem was that they pulled up in the crotch. They also did not fit right in the waist. Disappointing. I returned them and found some of the original ones.

I wear a 4-6 an got an 8 .. was snugg! ... go a size up for sure! not stretchy or forgiving like other materials in Columbia wear that but were really cute... gave to a friend who loves them..

I have a pair of this same style from a few years ago and this newer pair fits much snugger. It's still the right size around the waist, but fits tights on my legs. I don't know that i'd say you have to order up, but just know that it's snug on the butt and thighs.

Crotch shorter than previous version. Too bad.

Great look, a little tighter and less give than the other Columbia shorts that I have that are similar style.

Love these shorts! I own 5 pair of these in different colors. They fit true to size. I really like the length as well. They come to just above my knee, which is perfect. I am 5'9" and weigh 145. The size 10 fits me perfectly.
