This stuff is amazing! We had 2 rugs on new carpet which moved so much when walking across them that we were re-positioning them at least 10 times every day because we have them in high traffic areas to save the carpet getting too worn.We bought a larger piece of gripper and cut it down to size, leaving a 5-10cm border under the rug as recommended. It's really easy to cut, just use normal scissors. On carpet you put the black side of the material facing down and the grey side up, then put the rug on top. It's slightly tacky feeling to the touch, but not sticky or messy. In the instructions it says you can reactivate this tackiness if you find it wears off simply by spraying with a little water and allowing it to air dry.Anyway, it's 2 weeks now and it works like magic – neither rug has moved even 1mm since putting it down! Such a relief to find this product, and highly recommended.

I tried initially to follow all instructions but could not make the rug adhere to the grey side of the underlay.I followed the advice of another reviewer David and attached strips of carpet tape to the rug and then applied the grey side to that.I then placed the rug on the carpet and no movement at all!It is amazing how it works.I have tried many other methods in the past and none have been successful but this underlay really seems to do the trick.

I used this under a large rug which was on a fitted carpet. Rug kept moving around, but now it's secure. It was expensive,but worth it for the great result.Thankyou

Grips on wood like glue - great product

A bit expensive but has much better results than anything else I’ve tried. Have used under rug on hard floor and, most importantly, to stop a large rug from moving on carpet. Very effective so far and very easy to cut and use.

I purchased the gripper to place under my rug which was sitting on a carpeted surface and have been impressed with the adhesion of the grip. Good quality and is a perfect fit, does not appear too thick beneath the rug itself

After years of frustration trying to keep a large rug flat on top of a carpet, I found this product. It can be tricky to apply, as you have to remember exactly where you want to position the rug then lay the adhesive sheet before placing the rug on top without having to adjust it. But if you take care to get it right first time, you are rewarded with a rug that's flat, doesn't crease and never moves, no matter how many feet have walked over it. It has been down for a month now and I'm delighted with the result.

Good sized piece, divided it between 3 rugs which are all on carpeted floors. Followed instructions to apply correctly and so far so good.Appears to have enough adhesive to stick, easy to apply and use. So far the rug hasn't moved.Not the cheapest one however I chose it because the reviews were good.Applied and so far so good
