Will this make a 180 degree bend without cracking? Specifically, I am looking to make a bend around a 1/4" mandrel.

The hardness ratio of 6061 aluminum plate is higher, so it cannot bend 180 degrees without breaking. The toughness of 5052 aluminum plate is better than that of 6061, but it cannot bend 180 degrees without breaking. Will these stand up to heat?

I’m not certain of the question. Aluminum does melt at approximately 1220 degrees Fahrenheit which relatively speaking is a fairly low temperature compared to steel but it is higher than gold, silver, copper and brass. I use these aluminum plates to distribute the heat from a heating pad to to keep my lithium batteries from getting cold. They conduct heat just fine for my application.
