Well worth it!! Nice that you can do one toy or the other or alternate. We like alternate because about the time the cat gets bored with hide and seek, the butterfly starts and it not only drives him crazy it wears him out!! We had two other hide and seek toys which he liked but got bored easily and they ate batteries. Convenient that this one is usb chargeable and the battery lasts a long time on a single charge. If your cat likes this type of play, it's sturdy and dependable and well thought out!!

I got this for my fat boy cat and he loves it. He will play with it and asks me to turn it on for him when it's off. It charges fast and after one charging session I've been able to use it throughout the day for a few days in a row without it dying. The controls are easy to figure out, and the buttons are easy to use, making it simple to toggle the settings. The skirt part is already showing signs of wear but that's to be expected as one of my cats is large and plays pretty rough, even turning the whole thing over a couple of times. As soon as he hears it come on, he will run from down the hall to play with it. It seems really durable so far and the feather is still holding up really well, surprisingly. Two paws up, says my tuxedo cat. Definitely worth the price.

I have two very active cats. I love to play with them, but unfortunately, life has other requirements of me than to shake a mouse on a spring (that's Lieutenant Wiggy-Wag) or shoot my hair ties around my apartment for the enjoyment of my cats. The sad and disappointed faces of my kitties after they wait, wiggling with anticipation for the tenth play session of the day, only to be disappointed when I have actual human things to do makes me feel terrible. Enter this thing, whatever it may be called in actuality, I call it cat heaven in a box. It fully charges in 2 hours, just as the company promises, and then - it provides rapturous delight for hours upon hours. My cats actually left their dinners in their dishes, food could not compare. From a human standpoint it is well-designed, well executed, and surprisingly sturdy. Someone really thought about what a cat would love. It has four modes - the feather moving erratically under the skirt mode, the butterfly fluting around like a maniac mode, the both feather and butterfly doing the things they do simultaneously mode, and feather and butterfly alternating every minute or so mode. There are three speeds: slow or fast or randomly moving like a speed devil and then moving like molasses. My cats adored the random speed and alternating movement settings. The feather goes around in a circle, randomly backing-up, and moving in and out, sometimes fully visible outside the skirt, sometimes gliding around under the skirt which drives the cats bonkers with joy. The butterfly floats around charmingly, with ribbons skimming along behind it; it occasionally bonks a cat in the face, but it's so lightweight it's more of a caress than a knock-out. Which brings me to the surprising fact that despite seeming lightweight and with what you might imagine to be fragile parts and a weak motor (most things charged by concrete bouncing, damaged USB don't have the power to move a potato chip across a tabletop) the thing is sturdy as hunk of concrete and the motor is a beast. After 6 hours of attempted destruction by two cats smacking, pouncing on, lying on, and chewing on the parts: the butterfly, feather, and skirt, nothing broke or even got slightly damaged. The worst that happened (aside from running out of power after something like 6 hours of non-stop intense circling and twirling) was that the butterfly's wire that holds it aloft was bent so that it skipped along the ground instead of floating through the air. But even thought it was bowed, it didn't limp sadly along, it skimmed over the skirt a like a bat out of hell. And when it came time to recharge I was able to easily bend the wire back into shape so it will live to float again. It does come with an extra butterfly and a fish that can be subbed for the feather in case you have a house lion instead of house cats, and you can buy extra butterflies, fish and feathers for it at very reasonable prices if necessary. My cats fell into a deep slumber after after its power finally ran out; now, while it is charging they are both sitting on the ground like little sphinxes, attentively watching the spot on the floor where the toy was, ready to spring into action when it materializes again. In short, this is the best cat toy in existence. If my cats didn't need me to plug in the charger and open cans of cat food, it would probably make me obsolete, but it makes me happy to see them having such a grand time.

I adopted 2 kittens and they love this toy. The butterfly gets ones attention while the other chases the toy under the mat. Then they switch places for more fun. It came with a crack in the butterfly attachment. I emailed the seller with pictures and they responded and sent a replacement right away. Fantastic toy and excellent customer service. It's still working after a month, which is more than I can say for most of the toys I've purchased so far!!

Hands down the best cat toy I've ever purchased, and I've spent some MONEY on my babies! There is nothing I wont do or get for my babies, they have EVERYTHING and then some. Naturally, it is hard to find things now to impress them because they have everything. Well....this took the cake, they LOVED it!!! I've had ours for a long time now and they still love it. It stays charged for a very long time, It is very durable, and it is safe - no choking hazards The movement under the blanket portion of the toy has 3 speeds and it is so life like, its unreal. It has a auto off feature and also a feature that if it is touched before a certain amount of time the toy will come back on. You can sit it down a go, nothing else to worry about. The toy holds up to kitty swats and attacks. My little one gets aggressive and even flips it over and it works just fine. She hasn't gotten bored with it after about a week and now stands next to it when she wants me to turn it on. The charge holds pretty well .. I've only charged it once and she has used it regularly at least once a day.

Both of our cats absolutely love this toy. They play with it nonstop and I love that its rechargeable! The battery life seems to last a decent length of time and it seems durable and great for the price.

Our 2 girls both played with it right out of the box, after charging of course. We've bought them a lot of toys over the years and they normally play in the boxes more than with the toys themselves. Not to say there isn't shredded box all over the living room currently, but that was just the warm up until it was done charging. They both went at it for a good while, the interchanging feature where it switches from under the carpet to butterfly is nice cuz as soon as they get a good hold on one of them, the other one kicks in and they immediately go in for the kill on that one. Easy to set up, seems to keep them entertained pretty well, and a good deal for 25 bucks for sure. Not a bot nor paid by anyone, just a dude with two happy indoor/ outdoor girls, that are currently cracking me and my old lady up going after this thing.

They just don’t get bored of it. Charge lasts a long time like 2-3 weeks and it’s constantly entertaining my cats. Build quality is also great. I’ve had my cat pick this toy up and drag it down the stairs multiple times and it still works. It’s definitely passed the durability test! Haha

The cat loves it. Compared to similar products this one feels a lot more robust as well (my cat has a tendency to drag this toy around the house as a hunting trophy). The USB-C powered internal battery is a great plus as well.

The short summary is if you're wondering whether it's worth spending the extra $$$ on this device, the answer is YES. I've owned several similar toys down the years and this is the only one of actual quality, and you can just feel it in the build. The battery charges quickly and lasts forever, and my cats will play with this far longer than any other toy they own, and trust me they own all the toys already. Zero interest in the butterfly mode, mind you, but it's worth the investment just for the one function. My only criticism is the rubber "tail" on the "mouse" should be more rigidly attached to the ball unit, as it is prone to disappear under the mat, but the game works best when the "tail" is just poking out. Anyway, don't buy the cheaper ones, buy this and you'll actually save money not having to replace it every 2 years like all the others.

My cat hardly plays with toys for long periods of time,but this she loves and plays for about an hour or longer.
