Very loud don’t have to use full lung power just a decent force, hopefully works well for what is needed but just testing it I feel overall solid about the volume DBs, price for two not bad, nice lanyard that comes with clip in a little worried would gives out and maybe whistle fall off but just seems like a clip that isn’t super sturdy and perhaps will give out in time. Very lightweight, small and flat so can fit in pocket easy about two inches long have not tested around water

This is a small, light weight whistle that is super loud. Shrill and will be heard! The small size allowed me to keep one in the car and one on my keychain. It’s metal design means I’m not going to break it easily!

These are slick looking whistles that I've decided to put on a lanyard when I go hiking by myself in case of an emergency. I have a whistle, a small pepper spray and a small flashlight and I feel I'm set. Its well made and looks nice, has a small footprint and is loud. Since I got two I'm going to give one away. This small whistle is very loud! Pros: - Its compact size makes it great for using while hiking, biking, or any outdoor activity. I like the fact that it is made out of aluminum and even comes with a lanyard. - Shipping was fast and had a pleasant experience with the seller. Cons: - On the downside, while the whistle can be ear-splittingly loud, its just that; ear-splittingly loud. The sound reverberates directly into your eardrums because the bevel of the whistle is pointed directly at the user. Overall, I give this whistle (set of whistles, to be precise) 4/5 stars: 4 stars for the quality of the aluminum, small form factor, and very loud whistle sound (since the loud whistle can hurt your ears, I deducted one star). For $8 it is a little overpriced, but you do get two whistles in the package, which is nice.

i beat it up and it lasts. size is pocket perfect, makes a bunch of noise, color has not faded.

UPDATE: great customer service, I was issued a refund after my review, without asking as they guarantee customer satisfaction! Good to know! —— The whistle is fine but the chain rusts out immediately and stained my jet ski lifejackets that I had them on. Will throw these away and get new plastic whistles.

Whistle is loud, when it works. It's not all metal but has some internal parts that are plastic. Those parts can come loose, breaking the whistle. This happened to us after a few days. It also comes with a lanyard that snaps at the slightest tug. Do not rely on this product to work.
