Healthy, Hearty, and Surprisingly Versatile—but Not Perfect
I recently tried these unflavored Bambara noodles, and overall, I’m impressed. They’re made with air-fried Bambara groundnut flour, packing in 16 g of protein and 5–6 g of fiber per serving, plus lower sodium and zero palm oil—huge wins for a quick, nutritious meal. Cooking takes only about 4 minutes, and they hold up well in soups, stir-fries, or ramen-style bowls .What works:✅ Nutrition: Great protein/fiber content, lower fat than traditional ramen (“56% lower fat” via air-frying).✅ Texture & taste: Neutral base that absorbs seasonings well; a bit nutty and pleasantly chewy according to many users.✅ Ease: Quick-cooking (∼4 min), no MSG, vegan-friendly, versatile for various dishes.Room to grow:⚠️ Texture quirks: Some users mention they break easily or become a bit soft/mushy—not as firm as classic ramen noodles .⚠️ Pricey: Generally more expensive than basic instant noodles, though worth it for better nutrition and quality .⚠️ Unflavored nature: While versatile, the unflavored option needs additional seasoning or broth to shine—you won’t get much flavor straight out of the box.Bottom line: A strong 4-star product and an excellent upgrade for anyone looking for a healthier, protein-rich instant noodle option. Perfect if you dress them up in your favorite recipe—but if you're after that classic ramen chew or flavor straight from the pack, you might want to explore the seasoned versions.

Good addition to my daily soup
Used in soup made with hot water bullion and dried veg. They are good.Like most ramen fall apart when over hydrated.Adding to hot water and letting sit for 4 minutes or so is perfectBlocks are not individually packaged. I use about 1/2 a block at a time so 10 servings

Flavorful, protein rich ramen noodle
I try to reduce carbs, but not at the expense of satisfying foods. Having had these pantry stable noodles back to back with fresh ramen, I really do prefer the bamnut. It's got good flavor all on its own. It takes on the flavor of the broth beautifully. It maintains a pleasant snap even fully cooked. Not a full al dente snap, but near to it. I have trouble getting enough protein, but this and a bit of collagen powder in the broth makes it easy peasy. If I'm leaning in on the instant ramen vibe, I like Made with Lau's quick ramen recipe for an easy meal.

Not packed to be sanitary
The noodles didn't come as advertised in the description. They were supposed to come in five packets. When I opened the box they were in one big ball of noodles not even in any type of bag.

Healthier noodles with more nutrition and flavor
I tried the variety first and decided this one is my favorite. Just ordered only this one for the second time. I use this for lunch adding my own seasonings and vegetables for a delicious nutritious meal. Three stars only because this box arrived unsealed partially ripped and the noodles are broken up into a lot of small pieces. I could hear the pieces shaking in the box before opening it. It's supposed to be in five individual servings but it's not this time. The expiration date is good and the inner package is unopened so I know they are still okay to eat just not conveniently separated as before when I ordered them.

High protein, low sodium, DELICIOUS!
We like the Bamnut ramen very much. My husband made a soup with his. Broke up the ramen, added lightly cooked diced carrots, diced celery, frozen peas and scrambled hamburger. Cooked it all with about 2 cups of broth. I had mine with all the same additions only left the ramen whole with a bit more veggies. Topped it with a boiled egg. Both made such a large meal we split them into 2 meals. So good. I cooked mine in chicken broth. We’ll be getting this again

Love these noodles!
Pros, the taste was great. I saw the reviews about texture but I didn’t experience an issue.Con’s:They are a little pricey but easier, tastier and healthier than grocery store noodles.I paired these with dried ramen vegetables and low sodium ramen seasoning. It’s the perfect comfort food for winter without the guilt!
