Very nice for the price. If the hose sits in the sun in starts to sag but for what these cost I can’t complain.

First glance they look nice! But once you use them, you realize that the fitting necks down and restricts the fuel coming out of your can. Causing it to take 4 times as long to empty and race can. If it's for your lawn mower that may be fine, but at the track or just holding a 5 gallon jug of fuel up for 10 mins is not fun. There is no screen for filtering, aswell as the fitting is cheap plastic. It broke off while trying to fill a car and poured gas everywhere. Terrible design. the only thing that makes this half was decent is the elbows. I have one in of these tunes in my pit box now just in case, but I really hope I don't need it! Would not buy this again!

The VP racing hoses all come with filter screens which these hoses lack. Over the years, ALL my VP racing jugs have accumulated debris - ball bearing sized black tar balls — that I don’t want getting into my Porsche’s fuel system. They will build up in front of the fuel pump, cause constriction and damage my Bosch high pressure fuel pump. This is an unacceptable component deletion that probably saves them very little money. I’m now ordering stock VP hoses.

I love using U-Jugs as fuel jugs, even if I'm not supposed to. These spouts popped up on my "recommended for you" section, and I though I'd give it a try.I screwed one of these spouts in my U-Jug, fitted the spout with the neck bender, and proceeded with filling up my lawnmower.These spouts work, but the valve is definitely slowing down my pour time. When you look at the cross-sectional diameter of the valve, it's less than half the cross-sectional diameter of the hose, meaning that the valve is really slowing down the fueling process.Also, the valve is just not as helpful as I thought it might be. When handling 5-6 gallons of fuel in that jug, your 2 hands are pretty occupied just holding the jug, and it's hard to free one hand up to twist a valve.I'm going back to my old filler spouts, but will be keeping the plastic spout bender, as that seems to be more helpful than the valved spout.

I can't stand to new "safety" style gas cans, so I switched to the motocross style cans. They are fantastic, just a simple 5 gallon can with a cap, but the cap has a threaded filler in it and if you unscrew that these amazing filler tubes screw right in. These are even nicer than the old one I have, these have a build in shut off valve built in. I have a tractor that takes diesel, and many small gas engines like pressure washers, augers, weed whackers, that all need a gas can. If you have anything that take liquid fuel do yourself a favor and get a motocross can and order these filler nozzles.

My jugs have a barbed end that connects to the hose but the barbed end is one piece with the cap. These are meant for other jugs where the barbed end unscrews so you screw this fitting on in it's place.So before you buy these look at the caps on your jugs to verify.

I lost the original spouts that came with my jugs. These fit perfectly. I love how it has a valve to shut it off or crack it open to let fuel slowly exit the jug. The plastic seems to be of high quality. Time will tell how well these hold up. As of now I am extremely pleased with these and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again!!!
