Highly recommend.
Done the job perfectly. Slugs still appeared around food left out for the foxes but they would no longer climb the dishes for food. Used this for a week now and only seen one slug make it's way up (still not sure how!). Can't believe how well it has worked and prevented slugs eating everything on the foxes.

Seems to work. Easy to use
Arrived promptly, no slugs seen so far after using it, which given that happened several times a day, I’d say it was a win.

It repels slugs
Yes it repels slugs, I would advise using a double line rather thana single run, makes it much more effective I use it inside the cottage to prevent summer infestations. We have tried everything else including a strongly worded solicitors letter to the slugs, this failed despite its ptevious success against a wasp nest in the stone shed.

Okay
Good quality but didn't work. I used it to deter slugs getting in to my hedgehog feeding station and put it everywhere they'd gain entry, but they still got in.

Seems a good product - but will it work?
I bought this tape for an unusual purpose - to deter slugs from entering the house by squeezing between the rubber seals on a uPVC door in wet weather. (Snails are not a problem because their shells are too large to go through the gap.) I taped around all edges of the door and the rebate of the door frame. I cleaned the surfaces first using methylated spirits. The tape seems very flimsy, but this is useful for moulding around awkward shapes, and if applied with care, tearing can be avoided. After application it can be rubbed down firmly using a cloth which flattens most creases, so it looks very neat even when the door is open. It's too soon to say how durable the tape will be, but it has good adhesion on the clean smooth surface and is protected from the weather, so I hope it will last. The important question is, will it work? The narrowness of the gap means it would be impossible for slugs to 'jump' the tape and avoid touching the copper with at least one body surface, but I shall have to wait for wet weather to find out! The 25-metre length of this tape is good value. Shorter lengths are available from other sellers for a lower price, but you will almost certainly need more than you expect. To tape once all round a door and doorframe requires around 12-14 metres depending on size. To encircle one 20 cm diameter plant pot needs 63 cm of tape, so don't underestimate!

Result! No more slugs
I was sceptical as to if this would really work. I made the band around my raised veg bed three widths. We get big slugs around here. So far no trace of any munch holes. Also very nature friendly, no nasty chemicals. The rain hasn't effected its adhesive properties yet. Being in the lake district, this is a bonus. I found that when sticking it to the metal bed, I could peel back the tape if I put it on wonkey, then restick it in place without loosing adhesive grip. It does tear easily, but this is not a problem as you can place next strip overlapping and it it will still perform brilliantly. I have plenty surplus to sneak some into my crafting box as it is very easy to shape, cut, stick. It will be great for card lettering and sparkle. I'm sure it will get used for lots of other things too. Very versatile

This is not magnetic tape!
Make sure you're not looking for magnetic tape. I mistook conductivity for magnetic, so the product isn't what I wanted. But I didn't realise my error until I found that the tape wasn't reacting to what I wanted to attach to it. I'm sure it's fine for what it's intended for. But it would help if the product description stated that it's not magnetic.
