They do the job but be careful when using ph as these clay balls love to hold onto the ph you use, so be sure that bubbles are constantly moving it around otherwise you'll have white crystal all over the balls. I learned the hard way but luckily saved my plants. But yes they are if good quality and hold moisture very well.

Cracking size bag, have potted up about 15 plants with these mixed in and still have some left. Very good quality and do what they are supposed to. Good value for money and work well.

Lovely top coat for any pot. Enhances the look of the plant and keeps it moist. Highly recommend. I’ve ordered more for other house plants.

I use this to help with drainage in pots but it can also help retain moisture for the more thirsty plants all you do is mix it in with compost making it easy to use but you could use them directly to the soil in your garden with the same results

Bought these for my plants, one to cover the dirt I didn’t think looked nice and two to stop the black flys, the clay balls come in different sizes and look so much better than just soil, I’ve covered five pots so far and still have some left,they’re also lightweight and good for the money
