This 39 inch wide all metal toolbox fits nicely inside a BMW X5 SAV and there is a 41-inch version of this box as well. It is a black colored, low profile lockable box that is hard to see from the outside. A low-cost way to add a small tool stowage area for those long trips and doesn't use your prime cargo space. Easily holds a tool roll, impact wrench, wheel chocks, inflater, hazard and work lights and a medium sized fire extinguisher with room left over - a complete break-down kit that fits in the angle under the back of the rear seats. The box is just tall enough so you can actually open the lid in this position also. Two handles on the sides and the box itself is very lightweight. I tied mine to the cargo rails in the floor with cords and use the side space to wedge in other items. I have not evaluated weather resistance, but the box does look like it will stay dry outside in the rain and snow - the lid is sealed with weatherstrip material.

Very nice box for the price. Use it as a tool box on the back of an ATV. It's great and has held up well. Looks great, seals tight (after adjusting the latch which is to be expected), and the finish has held up well to dust and sun.

Measure the toung of your trailer. This box didn't fit my trailer. This box is nice and well made

I got this to mount on my 2017 Sure-Trac Car Hauler - its actual dimensions (excluding the lid) are 985mm across the back, 625mm across the front, 380mm front to back, and just about an 1/8" over 12" tall (including the lid). On this particular trailer (18" 10000lb) it will sit 16mm inboard from the outer vertical face of the tongue rails, and when butted up against the bulkhead at the front of the deck, it has 39mm of clearance behind the trailer jack (excluding the lid) - ample space to operate the handle to open the box and access the lock. The hydraulic ram is probably stouter than needed; I expect that it will eventually loosen the rivets holding the hinges - I'll replace them if/when that happens. Time will tell how resistant it is to water entry under the lid. Aside from that, it's a great box for this application.

Great storage/tool box, water proof, nice stable secure lock very secure... but only one star because customer service was terrible. Long story short they locked the keys in the box with the box locked so no way to get them out, Contacted customer service and they would not send keys to open it, so I had to take it to a lock Smith to have them open it to get the keys out and now customer service won't credit the $10.89 I had to spend at the lock Smith. So factor this possibility in to your purchase price... Hindsight I should have just sent it back and reordered.

Purchased this box for use on our travel trailer. It was just the right size to be mounted on the rear bumper of the trailer to hold misc parts! Worked great!
