I love theses things. Works well with the app. Doesn't have a lot of range tho. But otherwise great product.

This controller does not play part in any smart house cloud offerings, so it is easy to get up and running and does not require you to setup any accounts or sign up for any services. Scan the QR code, install the app, the app will find the controller via Bluetooth once it's turned on.This will work with LEDs from 5V to 24V (make sure to get the matching power supply). Hooking up the LED strip(s) can get a little fiddly - but it comes with a small screw driver for the terminals. Mostly, just match up the markings on the LEDs to the markings on the controller. Final step before you can start playing with light and color is to tell the app what kind of LED strip you have attached. After that, the interface in the app will adjust to the capabilities of your LEDs and let you play to your heart's content.I have used this with addressable RGB strips, straight RGB and RGBCCT, and they all work great.

This doesn't sync with wifi, There's no support. I bought 6 sets of COB LEDs plus the SP511 wifi controller. I hired a specialized technician to get them to sync up with our wifi. Both of us couldn't get it sync with our wifi. My technician is specialized in controllers such as these. The remote control worked as but advertising but the wifi sync didnt.Pautix does NOT offer support. Their website has a dead phone number and the email addresses bounces back.I would not recommend working with this product because the controller does not work as intended and the company does not offer support.

I purchased this to repair a driver that came as a kit with the RGBW LED strip, What I didn't know was that I also needed to buy separately the strip interconnect kit and the USB-Barrel power connector kit to complete the repair. Just be warned that this is not a complete kit to repair your Pautix LED strip kit if the driver unit dies on you. Otherwise, after replacing the faulty controller, everything was back up and running.

My company only buys LED tape from Pautix for all of our LED tape needs. I have never had any issues with their budget friendly LED tape. When it came to doing my own house, I figured why change anything! This controller has been great for my RGBW LED Tape setup. It is on a timer and runs about 12 hours a day with no issues. It remembers 'last set' so when power is lost (on a timer switch) it powers back on exactly where it was before. Great Product!

The media could not be loaded. Worked great for what I was using it for. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t allow for single color random sound activated lights.

Lights are nice if you’re just using a normal remote. To connect with Alexa, you need a “FairyHome” account…the app doesn’t exist in iOS App Store so you can’t make an account…bought this based off of the description, “works with Alexa”…..busted….
