100 Ideas for Secondary Teachers: Revision (100 Ideas for Teachers)

I purchased this on my kindle. This is my only regret. I would have loved a hard copy I could just dip into without having to switch the kindle on and actually be able to scribble all over and bookmark, which I can do on the kindle but not effectively. I teach languages and found so many of the ideas transferable to my subject not just for revision, but for part of my every day planning. It is written in such a simple way that you can literally just dive in anywhere and give the idea a go. The new 9-1 GCSEs mean that effective revision is going to be key. Ideas for physical and active classrooms as well as new ideas or revision of old ones all in one place. Very pleased with the purchase.

Some which are by no means New and some which are not implementable as a teacher (e.g. revision timetables - this is for the students!) But the bulk are really great ideas for revision lessons and sessions. Really useful. Highly recommend - especially love The lift test (idea 19) and revision placemats (idea 25)... the brain breaks are fab for any class to make sure revision isn't continuously mindless work for hours on end (idea 55). Great book.

....this is simply one of the best books I have ever read. 100 ideas and easy to understand. I don't care if these ideas came from elsewhere (many sources listed in the back of the book). I care only that this (used version) book was cheap and many of the ideas can be used in my job.Excellent.

This book is great for both new and experienced teachers. For new it helps to develop good practice when it comes to revision whilst it offers ideas for the more experienced amongst us.I highly recommend this book whenever someone asks about revision techniques and strategies for using in the classroom.

Fantastic book! This has made my planning so much easier for revision lessons as they can be tricky to plan for. It has a range of ideas from student led to teacher led and they can all be adapted for sixth forms too.Would recommend!

A fantastic resource full of simple but effective ideas. I've tried out many of them already. I've been teaching for 15 years- it's always great to have fresh, engaging ideas! If you teach, buy this!
