Transformers Toys Legacy Evolution Miner Megatron & Senator Ratbat Rise of Tyranny 2-Pack, 7-inch, Action Figures for Boys and Girls Ages 8 and Up (Amazon Exclusive)

The Siege/Earthrise Megatron has gotten a lot of recolors snd remolds and even Kingdom Scourge is on it's fourth outing here, but I have to say I think these are the best versions of either one. All the joints are firm (unlike the Alpha Trion version of Scourge in particular, who could barely hold a pose) without being worryingly tight, the dark colors look great with a few dashes of brighter highlights to break them up, and even the silly multi-part "Evoi Fusion" weapon gimmick works well for once, as you can give Megatron his mining drill and pick or bodge them together into a giant crossbow launcher thing of doom to rebel against the repression of the Senate and/or Functionist Council.

Worth the money

If for nothing more than Senator Ratbat, this figure makes this pack. I would love to see Serpent Or made from this figure like the classics or united version. This one figure is why I bought the pack.

PLEASE NOTE: The Amazon listing is actually for Senator Ratbat/Miner Megatron (The Rise Of Tyranny) 2-Pack, so if you order this, you're not actually getting Senator Shockwave and Orion Pax. (Amazon needs to fix the listings, stat.) Since I do have the Shockwave/Orion set in hand (thank you, Hasbro Pulse) I can actually review it for you. Pros: -Extensive repainting is done, and for the most part is of better quality. -Some remolding is done, new heads, new accessories, new chest panels, and they're basically okay. -If you've owned the Siege Rainmaker and Hound molds, you pretty much know what you're getting here. Cons: -Paint is thin in spots and very prone to chipping, especially on Shockwave's thighs. (It's unavoidable.) -The price you pay is more in line with new figures being made today, but these molds are roughly 4-5 years old and were much less than the current pricing, so you're basically paying more for less. (This is not Amazon's fault, this is Hasbro's, and shame on them.) Final thoughts: It's an absolute disaster how this listing issue is causing people to end up with the wrong set and causing so much confusion. It's going to need fixed because people are going to be sadly confused at best, and disappointed at worst. Onto the figures in the correct set, however... These seem to be pretty solid, considering how many times these molds have been used and there seems to be no real degradation on either one of them. (A complete shocker at this point considering this is like the 10th or 11th time Hasbro has used the Siege Rainmaker mold. Can you believe it? Geez...) The paint is vibrant and crisp, even if it's thin and prone to chipping. (I will say, Shockwave is stunning in person. You wouldn't think Prime colors on a Rainmaker/Tetrajet mold would work, but much like me, you'd be wrong. He's the gem of this set!) Orion isn't quite as good as the one in the Orion/Alpha Trion set, but he's not bad. It's another take on the same character, so it doesn't have to be perfect as it's an alternate take, but as toys go...the other takes the cake. This is still a nice figure, however. If I had any complaints, they would be that his legs are friction tabbed together (instead of pinned) and that friction joint likes to pop loose during transformation sometimes. It's not the end of the world, of course, just annoying is all. As for the new pieces, Shockwave's forearm blades/vehicle wings are simple but elegant and don't promise to be much more than that. And y'know what? It works. Orion's axe (I believe) seems to be new and it's painted in a vibrant orange with no bleedthrough and it looks fantastic in hand. Just fantastic. (Still has Hound's gas can/ammo drum and rifle. They seem to be the same as the original with no issues.) All in all, it's a nice set at the original $50.00 they're asking. At the current snafu pricing? Eh...not so much. If you can get 'em at MSRP, I absolutely recommend them. Please don't overpay for 'em.

Amazon has this set and the Evolution Voyager Senator Shockwave & Deluxe Data Clerk Orion Pax Humble Origins set mixed up in a really bad way, with the identification numbers being the only way to really know what you were getting, but now even those are mixed up. This should be "F7015" and would be the Ratbat/Megatron set, but until things are fixed, it can be very confusing. Hopefully this will be fixed at some point. But the set itself (Miner Megatron / Senator Ratbat) is great. Both are reuses of previously released molds with slight changes, but are solid figures. Good quality plastic as per the original versions, their deco is excellent. They are a bit back-heavy so they tend to be hard to stand without them falling backwards, but overall, I really like them

By far my faviurite deco of the siege megatrin mould, with some additional accessories that work wonders. And that is laired with a really good looking repaint of 86 scourge, which already was a figure i loved
