Feel great in the hands
The midsize grips look and feel great. The kit comes with everything you need to regrip your clubs and went on pretty easy, but you need to know what you’re doing. The grips are soft on the hands and provide a good amount of grip, they seem like they are well made and should last a while.

Great kit for replacement of grips.
Great price for the value. The tools provided were very good. Grips feel fine.

Great grips… great price!
These grips are great. As good as the “big boys” in my opinion. The tape strips that come with it are possibly the easiest tape I’ve ever used when regripping clubs.

Great Golf Pride Replica
This is my second set of champkey grips. I used the champkey MCC style grips last season and loved them. Decided to give these a try after reading that they were just a bit softer than the MCCs. These grips are still toward the firmer side, certainly nothing like a Winn dritac if that’s what you’re looking for. These are more like a ever so slightly softer Tour velvet.I gave 4 stars because I ordered oversized but received midsize. Now with that in mind… it actually turned out to be a happy mistake because these midsize are marginally bigger than the last champkey midsize grips I used. And… these are advertised as “traditional” taper which I figured meant they would get smaller toward the bottom. Not the case at all. They are the same thickness all the way down. So, while I was looking for a tapered oversized grip to try out I received a midsize non tapered grip…. But like I said, it worked out because they feel really good.If you’re on the fence just give some champkey grips a try. You can’t beat the price and it’s so easy to change out the grips yourself. I’ve done it a couple times now and I don’t have any special equipment. I did it at the kitchen sink. Just use plenty of the provided liquid and the grips slide on easily.Oh and from a durability standpoint, zero issues on my last set so I’m sure these will be fine as well. I try to change grips each year anyways.

High quality grips for the price, not traditionally tapered like the description says.
This is my second set of Champkey grips. The first ones I tried were the Midsize MCC ones they offer and they were just as fantastic as the Y-Lites. My grip size is right in-between a Standard and Mid-size and the Mids felt a touch too large by the end of last season so I picked these up and used one extra layer of tape.Take note that in the description they list these as "traditionally" tapered. At least on the standards, they are not. They equate closest to the Golf Pride Tour Velvet Plus4 grips. The lower hand is larger than traditional, and when comparing to the Plus4 grip I have, I see no difference. The only difference I can feel is that the Champkey grips seem ever so slightly softer. They are not as firm as a traditional Tour Velvet. The tape that comes with these is not the best, but it does work. I used it on my first set of grips and everything went fine as far as installation goes. Unfortunately, when I removed the old grips to put these new ones on, the tape from my last kit was harder to remove than I've previously experienced. I've had an easier time removing tape that was years older by comparison. The tape also seems thinner than something like the Golf Works grip tape. I didn't feel comfortable adding additional tape on top of it. Personally, I won't be using the strips from the kits again and have just invested in a proper roll. You save so much money with these grips you may as well get some nice tape.Time will tell how they hold up over the season. I imagine they will be fine given my last set. For the price, it's hard to believe what you get. They are as good as any Golf Pride or Lamkin I've used. I bought the green ones and they are true to the color in the picture.

Nice grips- midsize
Love these grips. These are just as good or better than the big names. A little firmer than tour velvet which I like. The midsize is a little larger than most midsized grips which I also like. I have no problem with grip in the hot and humid weather. They go on easily with compressed air and a little solvent. I don't know about durability yet.

Great Grips
Regripped all my clubs (except putter). The kit had everything I needed to complete the job. Saved a lot of money by regripping my clubs myself with a complete kit and clear instructions.

Exceptional feel and performance!
I have been an avid golfer for 70+ years. During much of this time I also built clubs for many golfers. I have tried many different grips from the big name brand and have paid premium prices only to be disappointed with some of these products. Fortunately I tried the Jumbo version of this product and have found them to out perform all of the supposedly top brands. Also they were easy to install! Try them you’ll like them!
