GIGABYTE UD750GM Power Supply Unit - 750W, 80 PLUS Gold Certified, Japanese Capacitors, Fully Modular, ATX 3.0, UK Plug

Pretty good power supply that reaches a B+ on the SPL PSU Tier list. Paired with a 6750XT OC and a 7600X it manages MSFS at ultra at stable 30FPS and never had any problems. Would definitely recommend when on a flash sale!

My Dell Optiplex started to freeze spasmodically and eventually wouldn't turn on the power button flashing orange, which is usually a signal that something is up with the PSU on this model. I had been thinking about fitting a better graphic card which required a more powerful PSU to run safely and, during Black Friday, decided to go for the Gigabyte UD750GM as my pick. When it arrived I removed my old PSU and its tangle of leads and replaced it with the UD750GM with only the cabling I required, powered up my PC, and everything was fully operational again: in my Optiplex the UD750GM is completely silent, probably because it isn't under enough load to spin the cooling fan. I now have a PSU capable of powering my PC and any suitable graphic card I may want to fit later plus the reassurance that the circuitry of the computer itself is best protected against any possible harm which might be caused by PSU failure for at least FIVE YEARS under the Gigabyte guarantee. A great budget upgrade of my old Dell workhorse of a computer which I am very pleased with.

Good value, good performance. I had some minor coil whine a while ago, but it just went away. The cables included can be a bit flimsy and just don’t plug into my components easy, they also often have a hard time wrapping around and navigating MATX cases since they’re quite firm. It’s 80+ Gold rated, and from a trusted brand so your PC will always be safe and protected. Much better than the previous offering from Gigabyte. Has a mounted fan for easy temperature control.

I've had a really bad experience with this Gigabyte power supply. First off, connecting it to my motherboard was a pain. The power cable's design was off and it was way too hard to plug in and out. Then, starting up my PC turned into a huge hassle. It just wouldn't power up most times. After a bunch of tries, my computer finally turned on, but I didn't get it fixed or returned, which was a mistake.While I was using it, my computer kept shutting down randomly. I didn't think much of it at first, but then it started happening more often and sometimes it wouldn't even turn back on. Thought it might be a hardware issue, so I even reinstalled my system. Checked the CPU, cooling, RAM, but nothing worked until I swapped out the power supply. Turns out, it was the Gigabyte PSU causing all the trouble.Honestly, buying this PSU was such a waste of time. It could've damaged my other hardware or caused me to lose files and data. I really don't recommend it. On the other hand, the Corsair RM750x I'm using now is awesome. Definitely worth the money.

Wasn't sure how this would compare to my previous PSU which had developed a weird noise after many years, but this one works well. No complaints.
