Good quality and printed King James Version. It has the red print (when the Lords speaks).Good maps to allow getting familiar with the different regions old and new which took part on earth, then and now. It is not leather bound, rather it has a durable hard imitation cover that is very doable.

For the price this is an excellent purchase. Easy to read, with helpful footnotes. I would love this exact bible with a genuine leather cover.

Quite a large size. I would put the size as larger than personal size but smaller than reference study size. My size comparison in my photo is with Good News Bible Sunrise edition. The gilding on the page edges is curious in a kind of dirty grey colour instead of the more usual gold. But gold embossing on the front cover and spine. The cover itself is flexible but not what I would call soft. Inside on the contents page there is 1 Peter twice instead of 1 Peter and 2 Peter but the actual books are correct. The typeface is not “Giant size” although when compared to a pocket Bible I suppose it is. But I found the typeface very easy to read and I wear glasses. The flexible cover also makes the Bible very comfortable to hold. No problem with a longer study session. The pages are very thin and I have a problem separating them but I expect that with a brand new Bible. There are the usual enhancements we have come to expect such as a concordance index, maps, bible reading in a year, miracles of Jesus, etc. as well as the words of Jesus in red and a single ribbon marker. Overall I like this bible. My first from Nelson. A steal at the price. My pastor will be pleased that I have a KJV at last. Highly recommended.

After attempting to read a small print Bible through a magnifying glass, this comes is such a relief. Its affordable, well produced and reads with ease.
