Beautiful scents- vanilla and lavender.
Quality. Light yet beautiful smell. The puff is elegant. Great addition to soft, layered scents. Will gift as well as use.

Ok so it smell off at first
But once it’s on your skin the vanilla scent actually smells quite lovely. I use it on my baby and I even smooth some in his hair, on his neck and feet. (Who knew baby feet got so damp feeling)

Great sandalwood scent
I was nervous having selected the sandalwood afraid it would have a chemical/fake smell but very happy with the scent :)

Terrific Body Powder.. Terrible Dispersion System..
This non-talc lavender dusting powder is absolutely terrific. Very high quality.. This body powder smells great, lasts for several hours and goes on very smooth. Really nice..The problem with Herb&Root's product which requires dropping my rating from five stars to three is the dispersion system here. It's absolutely terrible. The primary problem here is simply getting the powder out of the canister. I'll explain..The canister filter has three options when rotating the filter: Five large holes, nine smaller holes or a third option allowing more powder in one shot. The problem as noted above is that there's no consistency to the flow of the powder when shaking the canister to disperse some into my hand to rub on. What I've noticed is that when using the larger five holes or the smaller nine holes option is that it just doesn't come out properly. Yet, when I shake the canister with the circular dispersion selector turned completely off, there's powder everywhere! The dispersion system on this canister is a complete and total disaster. To make matters even worse, I'm utilizing that third option, the largest of the three openings, to get the powder out. The problem here is that the tiny door, which is supposed to stay open, is automatically bending back the other way, blocking the dispersion of any powder period. I get a bit of powder and then the door is shut again, not allowing a constant flow of the powder. This is totally frustrating, to say the least. When I bend it back the other way with my pinky finger, there's simply too much play in it to keep it open. It bends back the other way again, not letting any powder out.Additionally, it seems that the powder itself is lodged up against that tiny door and pushing it closed. The powder is released only sporadically. I'm sure others have experienced the same thing and the discomfort to the pinky finger used in attempting to push back the door and keep it open. This is absolutely ludicrous and ridiculous. It appears that Herb&Root simply plastered on any old canister filter rotator without taking the time to carefully design and manufacture one that does the job correctly and efficiently. They linked their product with a simple, cheap, mass produced generic canister filter rotator that's allowing some powder to be dispersed, while blocking the powder's correct flow most of the time. The end result is a very problematic dispersion system that more often then not doesn't deliver an even amount of dusting powder, while allowing the powder itself to be blocked from flowing properly. The customer winds up with an unacceptable amount of powder chunks on the floor. Take a look at the photos I took of the mess this product leaves. This is completely unacceptable. If anyone from Herb&Root is reading this, please fix the delivery filter system allowing the powder to be dispersed in an even amount every time it's being used. The circular powder selector is poorly designed and engineered.🤔 It's just cheap, pure and simple. It may be good for salt and pepper but not for this body powder.I've included a few photos displaying the top of the canister where the problem with the powder dispersion system lies. I've also included photos of what my carpeting looks like now, as noted above. (Thankfully, it can be vacuumed) That circular selector just doesn't work the way it should. For that reason alone I honestly wouldn't invest another $14.99 for four ounces of powder, no matter how good it smells or feels. For $4.99 one can purchase ten ounces of Gold Bond Body Powder (talc-free) here in Amazon, which is exactly what I'll do after the remaining Herb&Root lavender dusting powder is used up. Gold Bond's dispersion of their talc-free body powder incidentally is perfect.I'm actually not knocking the dusting powder in particular, just the dispersion system here. To be totally honest, this dusting powder is probably one of the very finest on the market today. The combination of oats, arrowroot, magnesium and zinc, among a few other ingredients, allows this dusting powder to deliver incredible smoothness, softness, fantastic lavender scent as well as healing and soothing qualities to the skin that few other dusting powders can match or equal. I'm just warning those consumers shopping around for body/dusting powders to expect and prepare for a complete mess when actually getting some of the powder out of the canister.Despite the high quality of this dusting powder as stated above, I honestly can't recommend this body powder due to the inefficient and totally problematic dispersion system. Maybe someone at Herb&Root will take notice and produce a workable and efficient dispersion system on the canister. The way I see it, until that time when the powder dispersion system is improved, I'll have to pass on this product.Four ounces of dusting powder at $14.99 is a bit pricey therefore the dispersion of the powder from the canister should be absolutely perfect. It's far from perfect unfortunately. Herb&Root should know this. Will not purchase again.
