Good all round
I've used a Wilkinson Sword Quattro for a few years now, alongside a Gillette Mach 3 razor.I had previously bought blades for either razor. but I would use the Mach-3 for the shaving, and then use the trimmer for tidying my side-burns (and my Movember moustache!). My hair is fair and doesn't require a hedge-trimmer to cut it off, hence why I've been happy with the 3-blade Gillette product. So, now I have the Hydro5 razors to use, and although I'm cynical about needing yet-more blades in the product, the results have been good. You have four blades in the main face, plus one at the back for tidying up the edge of side-burns and other details. The main blades give a good close shave, and the gel strip does do it's job (much like the old Mach-3 blades I could buy). The rear blade doesn't get much use, but it's ok. The one thing I usually hate with shaving is razor burn / irritation. It's less of a problem than it was ten years ago but it still happens. Yes, I still got some using these blades, but it was minor. I assume that the gel reservoir helps, but I will always use skin products after shaving to help reduce this irritation. All-in-all, though, these blades do a good job for a fair-haired guy, but I can't comment for hairy brutes. (Perhaps the extra blades will be of benefit to hairier guys???)
