This whizzes through paper and vinyl like butter. There are some adjustments you need to be sure to make to cut through sticker paper though, it does not like to cut the first or last 2 inches of the sticker paper, go slow, keep your hand on the clear grip and slowly move your hand along the grip as you move the rotary blade. You have to keep the grip secure to get a clean cut on sticker paper for the first few passes, it gets easier on the sticker paper as you go. Also make sure to keep the track clean if you're cutting sticker paper and vinyl regularly. I don't have much of an issue with residue build up but it can happen with any cutter/trimmer. I am a very very happy crafter with this! Thank you Tonic and Tim Holtz for this awesome media trimmer, and also that it's super affordable compared to the "pro" series rotary cutters from dedicated cutting companies. Also the blade can be replaced so it is removable in case you need to clean it from residue but be very careful, the blade actually shouldn't need to be replaced as it's self sharpening with the track under it.

I decided to give myself a Mother's Day present so I bought this paper cutter for my hobby of making cards. The thing I've noticed about crafting is that there a some things that are staples in crafting and you need to pay the price for quality. One of those things is a cutting board. I love everything about this one. You don't have to baby it; just pick it up by the handle. You don't have to buy blades for it but you can buy replacement parts. And, more importantly, it cuts like butter. Now that my kids are grown, it's time to baby me!

This thing cut terrific. It has markings on the extender and it is a blade that you do not have to replace.

Got what was advertised

This is my very first rotary trimmer. Was surprised to read some negative reviews. I find this trimmer to be an excellent one, producing amazing cuts and has a very stable built. Tried many different papers and chipboards and was very happy with the result. A little pressure toward the metal edge really helped with the clean cuts (from watching some Youtube videos). I had no problem making unmeasured cuts. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase, especially with the discount!

Really disappointed with this paper trimmer and glad I bought it on sale. I prefer rotary paper trimmers and the Tim Holtz is awful. Cut a few pieces of cardstock and the cuts were rough - not what I was expecting from a rotary paper trimmer. Keeping as a spare and will buy a Fiskars. Do not recommend.

I had an issue with how the cutter cut my heavy paper, so I asked if I there was a way to cut it specifically and they said it should be the same for all your paper. I had a new one the next day. Fantastic!!

This cuts perfectly. I couldn't be without it

Of all the trimmers I've had (and like most crafters, I've had a LOT) this is definitely the best. Solidly build, not too heavy, cuts perfectly every time and cuts fractions of an inch if necessary. I really like that there's a ruler top and bottom too. If I had a choice I'd give it 10 out of 5 starts.

Ongeloofelijk goede klantendienst, had dit besteld maar amazon gaf nergens aan dat dit pakket uit de US kwam en er nog douane kosten aan verbonden zouden zijn. Gevolg €39,95 douane kosten op een €68,61product, na een gesprek met de klantendienst beslisten ze om de volledige kost te dragen zodat ik het product alsnog zou ontvangen en het niet vernietigd word. Dit soort integriteit zie je niet veel meer de dag van vandaag.
