I really should give this 4 1/2 stars.In short, it works, seems accurate and has a nice remote display.I'm not thrilled the surface and how it folds out. Furthermore, you really need to make sure the item being weighed is centered weight wise. I'm guessing the load cell sensor is in the middle.So, in short, it is useful and will be used for smaller items but I'll continue to look for one for larger boxes that still has granular weight measurements.BT recommended for smaller to medium size items

This scale is great for my hobby needs (and mailing needs)! The right size and range needs. Very user friendly, so it's easy to read and shuts off automatically. I definitely recommend it.

I've been using this scale for a year and it is still performing well. It has gotten wet many times with no adverse affect. The coiled cord wants to flip the remove control box over and it were a little heavier or the cord was a little light this would not happen. This is not a big problem.

This scale really works nicely. Not apparent from the Amazon ad is the platform is actually a set of two hinged covers that fold outward just enough past vertical to stay open. I have NO IDEA what these doors are for. My testing shows the scale works the same whether the doors are closed (down flat), or open. it's a strange feature. Whatever.

It is so big that a human can use it. But I ship a lot and needed a new scale, and needed one that had more weight measured, my other one only went up to 35 pounds. Since this is on my counter I can not use the screws, I will have to get some velcro to hold the display reader. The surface is nice a large, I can weigh a box 20"x20" with ease. This was a great buy for me so far, just hoping it lasts.
