The brace seems well made but beware when ordering size. The brace runs real small. I ordered a Small being my Thigh measured 171/2 & calf 141/2. When i received brace I had to struggle to get it on my leg being it is a pull up type of brace (yes all the straps were loose), it was so tight it was cutting into my leg especially the calf . It was even harder to take it off. I returned it & ordered the Medium hoping it wasn't going to be too big. Well I received the Medium brace today & still had to really struggle to get brace up my leg. The chart says the size for Medium is 18.1-18.9 for thigh & 16.3-17.3 for calf so it shouldn't have been this tight. It stays up without even fastening any of the straps that is how snug it is. The plus side is It feels like it gives my knee more support than my old Dr. Brace knee support I've been using.Updated to 5 stars because of notifying customer service about Med. still being a little tight & the company is sending me a Large free of charge. Just remember if you are close to high side of measurement chart to order the next size up.

Fits nicely and would be 5 stars but the Velcro does not stay put very well on the main straps. It’s highly supportive and fits exactly as described and with the additional straps to fine tune the fit it’s extremely comfortable to wear all day. It’s high quality material that’s not thin nor flimsy and the hinges are very supportive and durable. It has a nice range of movement front to back and for the item it doesn’t weigh a whole lot.

My left knee has no cartilage at all left. The leg splays outward and walking has been extremely painful. I can’t have a knee replacement because of chronic cellulitis. Have to deal with first. Anyway this is the first brace that relieves the pain so it’s bearable. After buying so many braces that wind up in the trash this brace really gives support and cuts down on the knee popping and twisting and making it hard to walk. I would definitely buy again. 👍

I ordered an XXL based on reviews saying to order a size up which I did. It fit my leg just right but left too much space on my knee so I asked seller for exchange which they readily sent an XL very quickly. It does fit better though there is still a slight gap around the knee but not too bad.

Got a Lg. and fit is good. Maybe could have tried a XLg. This fits nice an tight.This does pull up over foot and up to over knee ? Does not open to wrap around. Do a wash ?, will know more.#2, just received XL knee support. Fits a paper wrap breeze gap in larger, yet fits as well as the tighter Lg. Knee support on first order. The Lg. was a bit tight feeling. Both are well suited for me knee use.

Does what is designed for

This is meant to be a first look out the package. I’ll update as I wear it more.When I first took the brace out of the package, I didn’t noticed that both of the longer straps were routed backwards along the back of the brace. I'm not sure if this was for shipping purposes or if it had been an opened package. Regardless, when I placed the brace over my knee, I couldn't get a snug fit. The longer straps were meant to be routed along the front, not the back. Despite my best efforts to tighten them, I couldn't achieve a secure fit. At the time I hadn’t discovered the orientation error.After carefully examining the brace and recalling my experience with similar products, I identified the orientation error. Additionally, the instructions did not include any written or visual guidance indicating that the long straps should be routed to the front.After correcting the orientation of the straps, I was able to secure the brace to my knee properly.Additionally, the X straps were not helpful due to their small wire loop footprint. They are supposed to be finely adjustable, but in reality, they can only be adjusted to one position. These straps could use more wire loop along the entire strap.For anyone experiencing fit issues, I recommend checking the orientation of your long straps before considering a return.

I have been wearing a NEECA knee sleeve daily for 6 months for my meniscus tear, and I love it. My Dr gave me a Donjoy hinged knee brace to wear when playing golf, and I decided to find something more comfortable and less bulky, so I went first to the NEECA store.I could not figure out from the NEECA website what the differences were beside the 42 and 43 knee brace style other than the "x" straps, so I ordered both. Turns out that the ONLY difference is the "x" straps on the 42.I tried on both braces and walked around the house for about 30 minutes to try and figure out which one to keep.I was unhappy to realize that the design only allows about one half inch of comfortable tightening of the "x" Velcro straps because of their angle and location. When I tried to get additional tightening of the "x" straps, the Velcro connectors overlap the sleeve portion of the brace, and the sharp and scratchy portion of the Velcro connector rubbed against my skin.In addition, I was saddened to discover that neither of the NEECA Hinged Knee Brace include the non slip Gel strips that are on the NEECA Knee Sleeves. These Gel Strips help tremendously in keeping the Knee Sleeve in place, and should be a feature on the Hinged Knee Braces also.I only gave this product a 4 star rating because of the comments included herein. Without the issues I am writing about, it would get a 5 star rating just like my NEECA Knee Sleeves earned.
