I needed a replacement cable for my USB lamp because my old cable was torn and the 5V jack was going bad, so it was causing the lamp to flicker. I didn't want to throw away a perfectly usable lamp so that's why I opted for a replacement cable instead. It's quite difficult to find the right sizes for these 5V jacks because they're just too tiny to measure accurately. I initially thought the 2.5x0.7mm connector would do the trick, but that didn't fit. Thankfully, this set included the 3.5x1.35mm piece (the red one indicated in the product photos), which fit perfectly into the USB lamp power jack. My USB lamp works just fine now with this new cable.The item is as described and appears to be well-built. The connector 5V jack is much thicker than the one on my old USB cable, so I believe that this will last a while. I am including a photo for comparison. The white plug belongs to my old cable and the black one with the red tip is the new one.

Needed a new cord for my LED lamp, which wore out and broke by the USB plug after 2 years. Plug on the other end is not a common size, but is in this set, and the cable is heavier-gauge so might last longer. 3 ft length is barely adequate, another foot would be better. Strain reliever on the USB plug is short and not very flexible, but the cable is stiff and doesn't bend sharply so i think it should hold up better than the original thin cable anyway. I decided these quibbles weren't enough to knock off a star.

The item works as described, I mean how tough is a USB to a 5v plug right? That was exactly my problem. I had nothing to measure the jacks themselves, especially the ones that had been lost and had no idea what size to buy. Not only can I change out the plug size but they are all lettered. Now I can plug them into other devices to find out what size they are and mark them onto the device using nail polish. The standard jack has no size stamped onto it however, the other plugs included are G, H, L and a small H.

I bought the adapter to be able to charge a cell phone using a power bank. I needed the 3.5 mm plug for this. It did not work. I checked it with a multimeter to be sure. If you look at the inside of the plug you can see that there is little or no nickel plating compared with the others. This was the only plug I was going to use from the set.

This set has the adaptor to charge my 5.9 Mydethun 3D Moon Lamp after the original got bent from falling and finally snapped. Perfect replacement for me!

I had bought a uv lamp for my nails and my mom ripped the cable and this fitted perfectly, what I love the most is that it has different ones as well
