Perfect for holding shells
Eliminates holding a knife in one hand and a fork in another. Great tool for taco makers

Makes wide tacos
They are good for what they are. A little small more for street taco size and the design makes the tacos opening really wide.

Works good
Works good, but my deep fryer isn't really deep, so it's hard to get this long handle down into the oil all the way.

Not good for making taco shells!
The tool itself, is a great idea. However, this one fails miserably. It leaves the shell too wide open, making impossible to eat without the shell just breaking in half and making a huge mess.NOTE: The tool shown in the picture is NOT what I received. The one in the picture has a nice "V" shape at the bottom. The one I received has a wide flat bottom.

Not as advertised
There is a very clear photo of the finished molded taco. This was what I ordered: a nice standard "U" shape. The final mold is nothing like this. Base is far too wide and without some sophisticated bending isn't ever likely to be.In a visual medium, don't use misleading photos.

Works Great if You Use it Correctly
Main thing to note is that these tongs create a flat-bottom taco, not a sharp V-shaped taco, which is fine if that's what you are looking for. These really cut down on cooking time and effort compared to trying to fry tacos using standard tongs and a fork. Place tortilla in tongs, drop in 350F oil for about 1 minute and you are done. The best way to use these is to fill a small pot with oil deep enough to submerge the entire taco (see attached picture). These don't work great if you try to use only an inch of oil in the bottom of a pan, which is a popular manual method. You have to bite the bullet and use more oil but the payback is very fast and consistent tacos.
