Brilliant, works perfectly. It's definitely cold not just 'cool'.First tested it out myself when it was delivered, laid it out on my desk chair at work (it was a particularly humid day!!), sat on it at and the impact was instant.My girl has an extremely thick undercoat owing to her being half husky, sshe really suffers in the heat. Yes I am a responsible dog owner: in the summer we restrict walks to early morning or late at night, plenty of fresh water always available, we try to keep her cool by keeping plenty of shade around if outside, or when indoors if we can't have air-con will put fans on and she will naturally sit in front of them, she enjoys the water too so will jump in it where she can... but I can't let her sleep in a pool overnight!!Introduced the mat to her at home and she figured it out straight away. Stayed standing on it for a bit at first (she likes to keep her feet cool), then figured if she lays down on it.... bingo!So pleased I got this, well worth the money, she gets alot of use out of it, means she sleeps so much better at night now too.Considering buying a second one so I can have one upstairs and one downstairs. Won't just be using this in the summer it'll certainly get used all year round.Not needed to clean it yet but I imagine it would be easy to do, a damp cloth will word wonders I'm sureThumbs up from me! 👍🏼

I looked at loads of dog cooling mats before deciding on this one and I'm very pleased with my choice. It feels thick and is heavy and clearly good quality, which is why it's more expensive than some others but worth paying the extra in my opinion.My dog wasn't entirely sure what to do initially(!) and just partially laid on it but by the next day he was fully laying on it and now regularly takes himself off to lay on it.You can feel how cool it is yourself just by pressing your hand down on it (or feet, which is nice in the warm weather!). Highly recommend.

Is a good product but heavy

This is the best cooling mat I've seen. My dog chooses to lie on it especially at bed time. I bought a second for downstairs. It's a good size, feels soft and cool, easy to clean.

This cool mat works great, you can actually feel the coolness if you rest on it. Our dog likes this and rests on it during the hot days.I have marked it down because our dog has managed to rip it. He stretched when he got up and put a tear in it. I contacted the maker a number of times but have not got any response. I taped it up and flipped it over and so far everything has been great with no more tears / ripsI did not contact the seller as this the problem is not related to them, and this review is about the product and NOT he seller.

This has to be the best item I have ever bought my dog, Alfie. The mat is amazing, and does exactly what it says on the box ! From the very first day that I gave Alfie the mat he has used it, he is never off it, it is his favourite place to rest and sleep. The mat works by getting cold once the dog lays on it, the weight of the dog activates the gel inside the mat to get cold. You do not have to place the mat in the fridge or the freezer, once the dog gets off the mat within 30 mins thegel goes back to its original temperature and is ready to use again. I can. To rate this product high enough, it is an excellent way to keep your pet cool and worth every penny xx
