1 METRE BLACK CAR AUDIO SUBWOOFER BOX/SHELF/BOOT ACOUSTIC CARPET

Well, this is not so much about the product as the vendor. Don't get me wrong, the carpet is exactly what I wanted. But anyone who buys this sort of thing knows exactly what they are ordering. Its charcoal black, like thick felt with a texture, we cut it out and glue it into speaker covers or other onstage (or in-car) audio equipment to protect it and make it look professional. Perfect!What I want to talk about is this. I ordered mine three weeks before Christmas. I wanted to complete my project in time for a gig on the 13th. Cutting it fine I know but there you go. When it hadn't arrived by the end of the estimated delivery time I thought, well, its the Royal Mail staggering under a deluge of the most intensive online shopping spree in the history of the known universe. I gave it a few more days then emailed the vendor to let them know it hadn't arrived. Just so they knew. I figured it would probably come in another day or three.Well, they wanted to send me a replacement immediately, especially as I had missed my gig on the 13th and as I had two more bookings looming on the 27th and 28th December, my new goal. I thanked them for their kindness and said let's wait a few more days, there's still time, it's somewhere in transit. So that's what we did.But it didn't arrive. Four days later I emailed again to tell them. They snapped into action and two days after that I had it! The project is now complete and looking lovely as I write this (as lovely as a charcoal carpeted bass bin plinth can look) and I still have three days before our two end-of-year gigs.The five stars are really for the attitude and actions of the vendor when things went slightly off the rails. Its like, I always say you can tell a brilliant driver by how he reacts when he hits ice or gravel and has to get the car back under control. In this case its about what happened when things didn't go as planned, that set a great vendor apart from the run-of-the-mill. Nice quick communication and corrective action without hesitation!I'd order from them again anytime with confidence!Thanks guys and Merry Christmas.

looks good and feels nice. Its relatively thick at around 8-10mm and also easy to work with.sticks on well with heavy duty carpet spray glue.I might be buying more of this stuff in future once i figure out the next step of the project.

I have a plastic interior to the boot in my car, which was damaged by a previous owner, and I have used this with some spray adhesive to line the boot.It looks great!

I have used a lot of this stuff over the years to recover PA speakers etc. Providing it's fixed properly it looks great and is quite hard-wearing. The piece I received this morning will need some work before it's ready for use though.

It did what I wanted it to do perfectly. Easy to cut with sharp scissors.

it was so easy to reline the boot of the car with this using a spray on glue ,really pleased with the result
