Superb quality. Worth the money for sure.
Extremely pleased with this guitar so far.mine is the Tennessee red edition. I purchased this guitar after reading all of the great reviews that it had. I was originally looking at the new Martin X series. I came across this guitar by chance and Every review that I read was great. I’m most impressed with the craftsmanship of this guitar. At first glance, you can tell that this thing is top notch. Compared to the Fender CD-60 that I purchased a couple of years ago, this guitar is on another level. It’s easier to play, sounds better and feels better in my hands. The neck feels better in my hand and seems easier for me to find my way around. I guess I should caveat all of this by saying that I’m a beginner on the guitar. I bought the fender to learn on because I read that it was great for beginners. So far, the seagull seems like a much better guitar to learn on. It looks freaking great too. I don’t want to put it down. Oh yeah, it comes with a fantastic gig bag to boot. This gig back is highly padded and high quality. Super impressed with it as well. I would happily recommend this guitar to anyone. If I were to have anything negative to say, it would be that it took 5 days to reach my house after it shipped even though it was a prime product.

WOW. This is an incredible instrument! ❤️
If you’re on the fence at all, just jump. This is a GREAT guitar and could easily hold its own in company twice the price. Great tone/clarity/resonance. Beautiful craftsmanship. Nicely balanced. Amazing finish—these pictures do not do it justice. What a joy to play right out of the box. Fantastic quality at this price. I got a used “like new” at $350 and I feel like I robbed someone. It’s in perfect condition. Lucky lucky lucky. Would have happily paid full price. Best purchase in a long time. Love it!UPDATE: Turns out to be even better than I thought but it’s because they sent me a different model. I received a Seagull Coastline Momentum with built in pick up and gloss finish. It is not a Seagull Original S6. Again, lucky stars purchase at $350. I only learned this when I had it professionally set up. What a great surprise!

Stunning looking and sounds wonderful
This is my first guitar and I am so pleased. Looked at guitar center but nothing caught my eye. Researched this guitar online and bought it and I could not be happier with it. The cedar top is gorgeous and sounds fantastic, this guitar absolutely draws me in and I cannot put it down. Highly recommended this guitar!

Beautiful Looks and Sound!
Wow. This is my first <$200 acoustic and it’s like night and day from my previous experience. Feels very good in hand, the details are very well done and the sound is fantastic. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed paying full price, but I got it about $100 off by going with a “used-very good.” Absolutely no hint of it being anything other than brand new. Including tags and all.

The S6 sent to me is a slim version
I'm giving this 4 stars. The guitar is a 5+ star rating. The seller is a one star for not labeling it properly. The one I got is not an "S6", but an "S6 Slim". Reviewing the comments on this guitar is seems like some folks got a real S6 with a 1.8 inch nut, and others got a slim version with a 1.72 inch nut. I, unfortunately, got a slim version. I specifically ordered this for the 1.8 inch nut as I have big fingers. I tried to work with it as is but I get interference with my fingers when I play some chords. Many acoustic guitars have a 1.75 inch nut, so this is even less than normal. You'd be surprised how much a couple hundredths of an inch makes when fretting chords. So, I am returning it. I am getting another S6 that does have a larger nut.Don't get me wrong. This is a wonderful guitar. I tried out the -artin X series, -amaha FG series, -aylor Mini, and several others in the under $700 price range. I've been learning on a -asmine S34-C for a while and was ready for an upgrade. Out of the numerous guitars I tried, the Seagull S6 is the best, by far. It has a beautiful tone and most importantly for me, great playability. So, if you you are looking for a Seagull S6 Slim, this is a the one to get. It not only sounds great, but it is a beautiful looking guitar. If you need a regular S6, look elsewhere or take a chance you'll get one from this seller. Either way, the Seagull S6 is the best guitar under $1000 in my opinion.

Great Quality At A Great Price
I’ve been playing guitar for about 25 years now, and I’ve owned many acoustics. My daily driver for the past 12 years has been a Taylor 110e acoustic/electric, but lately I’ve been wanting something a little different.I had wanted a really well made acoustic only guitar; Seagull seemed like a great option because of their reputation and the build materials, as well as the slightly shorter scale (for the weird jazz chords I like to play). As expected, the S6 rings beautifully. The Tennessee Red finish is so cool, and I liked being able to choose whether or not to put on the pickgaurd (I did, but toyed with leaving it off).Shipping from Gear Hero was fast and the guitar was packed safely; they must have taken good care of it while they had it, because the guitar was literally ready to play as soon as I got it (aside from tuning, of course.) The strings were even brand new!I will absolutely buy another Seagull in the future, and if I had to order through the same shop, I would be happy to do so. Both the maker and the retailer surpassed my expectations.Edit: Something for prospective buyers to consider- the sound of this guitar is relatively dark, so flat wound and phosphor bronze strings may not be the best choice for this guitar. Martin monel strings sound particularly good on it, however.(Also, I still love my Taylor, but sometimes it’s nice to have options!)

Great guitar!
Guitar exceeded my expectations in almost every way. Great craftsmanship and quality of materials is good. The playability is good. Frets are good with no sharp edges. The tone of this guitar is great, very balanced across the strings. Plays as good as a more expensive guitar.
