Great stove but it randomly will beep every second when not in use.

Good choice for small spaces, it has two burners and adjustable power levels and heats up quickly. It is easy to clean and so far it has worked with all my pans.

It looks nice on our counter but I must say it’s not the fastest cook, it’s takes time for the water to boil so keep that in mind.

I bought a 3-burner Hobsir unit about a year ago and liked it so much that I bought two of the 2-burner units for some efficiency apartments. However, there are two reasons I don’t like the 2-burner versions as much: 1. Wiring / Connector Size The wiring comes in an odd-size armored cable—somewhere between 3/8" and 1/2" Greenfield—so finding the correct connector was difficult. The original 3-burner unit came with a rubber cord, which made it easy to plug in directly. 2. Button Placement & Lockout Because the 2-burner unit is smaller, the lock button sits close to the front burner. When using a larger pot, it can slide over the buttons, which locks the controls for safety and interrupts cooking. Originally I couldn’t find clear instructions on how to unlock the control panel (most info said to hold the lock button 10–30 seconds), but after contacting technical support I learned the correct method for this model: To unlock: Press and hold the “–” and “+” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The “LO” symbol will disappear once unlocked. With that solved, I was able to make everything work for my setup. I used a 3/4" metal NM connector for now (safe but not the perfect fit) and I keep larger pans on the back burner. Customer Service: Hobsir hob has been great to work with and even offered a replacement. Based on the experience and support, I would definitely purchase Hobsir hob cooktops again. Overall, if space is limited and you understand the differences, the unit works very well. Hope this helps with your purchase decision. ----------- Additional Note: I’ve seen some reviews saying it doesn’t heat well, but in my experience these 240V Hobsir hob cooktops heat extremely fast. I can boil water about 3× faster than on my gas range. (The 3-burner model also has a larger heating zone on the back which helps.) If someone isn’t seeing good heating performance, I do wonder if their 240V unit might not be wired correctly, because proper wiring makes a big difference with these cooktops.

Great quality stove top for a great price, the installation was quick and easy, and everything wipes right off when your finished cooking. Very happy with this purchase!!

Purchased the 5 burner stove top. Had it installed and it worked well for the 30 days and I had trouble turning it on. Thought my fingers were wet or something since I would try it after wiping my hands then it would turn on eventually. Now it doesn’t turn on at all. $259.00 for 30 days of use. Don’t buy. Haven’t been able to reach anyone about a replacement or return

Bought this to replace a unit that I accidentally broke. Very easy install and it works even better than my old one, and with more burners.
