I wanted to make elite dangerous more immersive. With HOTAS and a VR Headset, does just that. It is awesome. Used it for a couple of weeks now and now I am very comfortable with the setup. While playing, sometimes you do believe you are in space. It was fairly easy to put together, good thing since the instructions needs a lot of work. The chair mount is sturdy and durable. A little pricy but it takes my gaming to a whole new level.Packaging & Delivery:] The packaging is as expected and arrived without incident. Delivery was fast and as promised.[Summery:] All in all I am very happy. I am comfortable with the 5 stars. I have no problem recommending this Chair Mount or the seller.

Overall this works as intended. There are plenty of bolts/screws/t-nuts to give enough variety to attach things to. I've used other aluminum extrusion mounts and compared to those, this one is lower quality. I think it may be the light style, which is ok for this purpose but just doesn't feel as robust. To be fair, you don't need heavy duty aluminum profile for this use, but comparing to others, I thought I would mention this. The other components (mounting brackets) are a thicker gauge steel which is good. The t-nuts provided are a little better quality than the other brand I've used. I'm able to achieve a very tight fit with no movement in the parts provided.Since this does permanently attach to your chair, I wouldn't recommend this if you sit at your desk to do other things as it's quite annoying having it between your legs all the time. If they could have added a quick release that allows you to slide it in and out whenever you wanted, then this would be great. I would still recommend this, but I prefer the other style that clamps to your desk (allows for quick setup and removal and isn't permanent).

I found this not straight forward to install. Since it's basically just basic hardware around extrusion profiles it's more like a DIY solution. It's more a kit with some DIY modification required. The price for everything included is about right. I am just not overly convinced that this is a good fit or the proper way to mount flight controls.

It’s nice just a little hard to assembly

The good: When mounted on a chair that has room it's suprisingly sturdy when lower down, actually kinda fun building it, customizable enough for most chairs and setups that you could have, the included joystick mount is compatible with a variaty of flight sticks,The bad: The corners of the aluminum bars is SHARP!, while building was fun putting the little tic-tacs so screws could mount to the bar was a little tedious trying to get them lined up just right,MAKE SURE YOUR CHAIR IS COMPATIBLE!! I was going to put this on my Secret Labs Omega chair, but due to it's construction the included mount is NOT compatible with it, luckily enough I still had an old Office Depot chair that it fit on and it worked well. This mount adds immersion to your flight stick game by placing your controls in a realistic position a pilot would experience. For the cost, I think this is good value for the product and adds to the experience. It feels sturdy. I'm currently using it with a T-Flight Hotas 4 but will upgrade to a more serious stick. It's easy to install and remove. There is a simple, short (45sec) installation video.

This set of pieces assembles to serve as the mount for throttle/joystick or other controller for an office chair.The large black piece needs to be screwed into the base of the chair, and next largest black pieces attaches to that plate with knob screws.The remaining pieces can arranged in a number of ways suggested by the instructions or just intuition to suit the user.It’s unfortunate the instructions are so sparse with detail, but after some examination of the parts, it becomes clear how they can fit together.The “default” configuration, with the medium-length bar projecting from under the chair, the longest bar connected by the right-angle connector, and the joystick mount on top of the long bar.Ruler for scale.

My partner is really into flight sims and we got this for him to repurpose into a completely custom setup. I like all of the included components and the material quality seems great. As for mounting, we are coming up with our own unique mounting system so I can't speak to ease of use in that regard, but other than that we are super happy with this kit.
