This product is advertised as the ROFIRE 1950° C, but what Conrad Electronic delivered was the ROFIRE 1800° C model. Checking the Rothenberger website I note the main difference is that the ROFIRE 1950° C features 'piezo ignition' whereas the ROFIRE 1800° C does not. I am not bothered about having this feature so I am happy to keep the 1800° model, but for clarity the product description should be amended to "Rothenberger ROFIRE 1800°C".

I purchased this blow lamp as it appears to be at the upper end for DIY use (in my case soldering copper pipe joints on domestic plumbing). The canister is larger than a lot of the DIY products available and that I've used in the post though a smaller size would have been ok in my case as I don't do a vast amount of soldering. What impress me was that it was easy to light (I've had problems with cheaper products in the past) and that it produced a very large flame but that was controllable to a small flame. So, while more expensive than some DIY blowlamps it's the model I ought to have bought some years ago. The product is advertised as being suitable for braizing copper and while I have tried to, it's something I don't think the cheaper DIY products will do. I update all my reviews over time (even after several years) so will update on how I get on with this German product.

The gas blow torch is working reasonably well, but if you need high temperature quickly then you will need another device. It serve the purpose I intended to work with. Thanks. Suresh

Ich habe mir diesen Brenner gekauft, zum Löten von Rohrstücken, oder auch Dachrinnen, Unterbodenschutz ,Dichtungsmittel heiß machen, zum leichteren Abschaben vom Unterboden , Grill anzünden, Kamin anzünden..... Der Versand war Blitzschnell, der Brenner ist super, hat für meine Zwecke genug Leistung. Die Flamme ist gut regulierbar . Ich habe von Rothenberger noch die kleine Lötlampe, mit den kleinen Gaskartuschen, aber die Leistung reichte für meine Zwecke nicht aus. Ich hatte auch schon mehrere Unkrautbrenner mit Gaskartuschen, aber die waren nach ein Jahr hin. Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden mit diesem Brenner, er ist schön handlich , was soll ich mehr schreiben? Ich gebe volle Punktzahl.

Articolo consegnato come da programma. Confezione in ottime comdizioni. Il cannello è di ottima qualità e raggiunge in breve tempo la temperatura necessaria per le saldature "forti" con argentana ed altre leghe simili. Ottimo il rapporto prezzo / qualità. Avrei preferito avere il tipo con l' accensione piezoelettrica ma non è disponibile sul sito Amazon.

Ce produit pouvait faire des brasures sur du cuivre,impossible à faire,je suis ancien blombier à la retraite donc je pensais que c'était bien pour éviter de déplacer les bouteilles de chalumeaux mais non. Par contre trè efficasse pour les soudures à l'étain mieux que les chalumettes. Je conseille ce produit pour petit bricoleur. Je ne saurais dire la capacité des réserves de gaz.

Wichtiges Detail zu erst: es gibt keine eingebaute Zündung. Rothenberger Qualität bestellt und diese auch bekommen. Hat gut Hitze zu bieten, genau was ich brauchte.
