Fantastic value, Favorite of mine I keep buying more... got 3 so far, Friendly to set-up and use
Easy to use right out of the box. 1. turn the switch on (located on the bottom) 2. Put in sunlight to charge it. 3 decide where you want it mounted (so that it's getting sunlight and is pointed at a location where you want motion detected.). I don't mount them at all. I've got one on the front porch pointing towards the door. I have cats that go inside and out. At night it comes on when the cats go out and come back to the front door. Saves me time going to the door when a cat's not there. Another light I placed in the yard near where my horse is. It comes on when I go out to feed him. Then there's the beauty of being able to use as a flashlight I can use if the power goes out. Or if working on a car and need light. Practically anywhere you need light you can use this. I do not live in a town. If you do, you may want to mount it somewhere so it won't walk off. Put them near the house or along a sidewalk. I've bought other solar lights, but this has been the best of the best. Longer lasting, brighter lights, just try it, you'll like it too.

No service, so far, when a piece came broken.
I love this product and have bought 32 pieces already. Just, because I live in Aruba. I am not able to send back, or repair, a few that came broken, or stopped functioning short after installation. The response on requesting a few ones for free, to compensate me for those that do not function is impersonal and reads just like a standard letter. Today, Saturday May 15, 2021, I have placed a new order for 10 pieces. Hopefully, the seller will notice and reimburse me for a few that did not work in earlier shipments. Note that sending back items back from Aruba to AMAZON is just very expensive. I am used to pay shipping and duties between my MIAMI delivery address and Aruba

I have 6 of these
Lighting my 100' driveway and spots around the house, these lights are excellent. They give off a low glow until activated then go bright. I'm replacing one after more then two years with the same model. No complaints.

So much better than I hoped.
I got this in May 2018 and I could not be happier with it. We have a regular floor light with a motion sensor on it but remembering to turn it off every morning was a problem and it was just too bright to leave on. And on a windy night, which we have many, it just goes on all night long. But I REALLY like being able to see my keys when I try to get into the house at night. So I bought this and it's perfect. It's bright enough to light our stairs, the door and the walkway at night but angled down so as not to annoy the neighbors on a windy night. It's winter here in the northeast and it still gets enough sunlight to work until past midnight, even on cloudy days. In the summer it will work all night long and still have plenty of juice. So far, the batteries are handling the cold well. The soft pulsing light is nice, letting me know it's work. The motion sensitivity is excellent and it doesn't stay on forever either. It's really just a great light. I'm very pleased with it. Well worth the money.

Still workin' so far
Needed a new sensor light over the garage and checked for estimates for a electrician to have one hard wired installed instead of a solar one..forget it..estimates $350-450..for a $50 light!..pfft. So bought one of those solar motion sensor lights advertised on tv..I'm sure you have seen them. Lasted 10 days and quit working, contacted them for another one. Arrived a week later, installed it and it too went out after about ten days...simply garbage..plus they said my warranty expired and no refund..rip off.. So found this one on Amazon and gave it a chance. Installed easy enough and plenty of sun to charge it up. So far after year and a half still working...pretty impressed. Only thing I wish it would stay on a little longer when the sensor is activated. Other than that it lights up the driveway fine.Update: It is late Nov. 2020 now and it is still working..can't beat that.

I went to Amazon to research like I always do pretty much everything I buy that ...
My wife has been wanting to get a motion light for some time for the backyard so the dog can see clearly when we let him outside, and I've been wanting my wife to quit leaving the porch light on all night and wasting electricity and bulbs. I went to Amazon to research like I always do pretty much everything I buy that I know nothing about, and found this light to be among the top-rated, so I picked up two. We liked them so much, we've since bought a 3rd one. The motion sensor picks up the dog as soon as he's in view, and the light is great. And at $23 each, it's a hard deal to beat. I was worried that it might not work so well, as the instructions call for full sunlight for the solar panel and the back of my house is fairly lit but not full sun where these are mounted, but they still work fine. If I ever needed a 4th light, I wouldn't hesitate to get another one of these.

Second time around and pleased!
UPDATE 8/9 - Ok the first one was definitely defective. This one works and works well! Walked under it and was amazed by how bright it is. Even my wife who leaves out for work early was shocked at how bright it is! I definitely recommend this light!UPDATE 8/2 - The company reached out to me and offered me a free replacement based on my negative review. I'll update this once I receive the replacement. This left me with 2 screw holes in the trim above my garage door. Charged it for a day by leaving it in the sun then I turned the button on the back to the on position and confirmed it turns on by going into a dark closet. After I mounted it, it would not come on to save my life. I left it up for 3 nights, walked in front of it, nothing. In defense though, that side of my house doesn't get the darkest because of a distant street light. In any event, returned it.

good light where you have no electric.
I put this light above the door to my 10' x 12' yard barn where I store my push mower, riding lawn mower and other yard tools. I have a sky light on the roof of the barn so I can see inside the barn without having electricity running to it. This solar motion detector light works very well here to ward off any potential thieves from breaking into it during the night. I am not sure why the led lights stay on dim all night but, I knew this when making my purchase. The motion light comes on whenever I walk within 15 feet and stays on a sufficient amount of time. It lights up very well for a solar light. If you need a motion detector light somewhere you don't have electricity this works well for the price.
