Courage - The Story Of Modern Cockfighting

Great book written in 1938 describing what was modern cockfighting at the time. THe views on both sides of cockfighting taken then hasn't changed much from our modern times.Gamefowl breeders/hobbyist/Enthusiast in my opinion, views the government and animal rights activists as their opponents/enemies who want to intrude/impose in there way of life, livelihood ,culture ect. It is my observation that the Gamefowl crowd versus the Animal rights groups/Gov. debates on wether its humane or cruel has been waged for decades......after reading this book i understand more of the gamefowl and the type of people that raise them.

Great book! Gift for my husband.
