BEST thumbstick grip I've tried..(and i've tried a lot)
As someone who has tried out multiple grips (kontrol freek, scuff universal caps, best buy/insignia, generic brands, etc.), I can tell you that these are exactly what I was looking for. Even though many of the different brands and models of grips 'look' similar at first glance, they DO all feel completely different, and affect the way you manipulate the analog sticks.I play a lot of MW2, but also enjoy adventure/exploration type games. Both require constant use of the right stick for camera movement/aiming/orientation, and these do not disappoint. They're VERY grippy, and in the perfect way. I've tried multiple other thumbstick grips (even others in the kontrol freek line), focusing on what works best for me on the right stick for critical aiming and also for just casually looking around. They fit very secure and snug, add minimal but usable height (I measured just under 2mm with a caliper), and have a great pattern that feels 'right' in every situation. I don't feel like I have to adjust my grip and thumb position constantly anymore. The design is interesting...it's somewhat of a hybrid; the edge is very slightly raised, so there is a subtle 'rim'; and then you have the grippy bumps. The company logo in the middle acts as a very slightly raised area for a tactile 'center point'; kinda reminds me of the raised dot in the middle of something like Razer Wolverine thumbsticks.BTW, these are NOT 'silicone'! I HATE silicone thumbstick grips, and i can't stand the fact that "Silicone" has become a buzz word associated with "thumb grips", "no slip", etc. All the cheap "made in China" ’universal thumbstick grips’ (and i’ve tried a few) were of course made of silicone...and they just don’t hug the stick tight enough. They slip/rotate too easily, and your thumb doesn’t stick to them the way they should. Even if they did fit tightly, there would still be some play in the rotation/fitting because silicone just doesn't grip the same way rubber (or whatever this kontol freek voodoo blend) does..that's just how it is, and it's all about the material and the compound that's used. Long story short, if silicone is 'grippy', these are 10 times 'grippier'!!!Pros:- NOT silicone. it’s KF’s proprietary blend. it’s almost ‘tacky/sticky’, but in the best way. i thought it would be ‘too grippy’, but it’s exactly what i needed now that they’re on.- they stay on the stick very tightly, and don't slip whatsoever (I'm using them on a PS4 and Switch Pro controller, but I can tell these will tightly hug anything). imagine you got your thumbsticks "dipped" in a grippy rubbery compound...that's pretty much what they feel like, and it's quite remarkable.- extremely minimal height increase (my caliper says it's in the 1.7 - 2 mm range) - it's hard to get a steady accurate reading cause they're not a completely rigid material - this slight but almost unnoticeable height adds a touch of control; anything higher and you start to get into "I need to re-adjust my grip" territory.- the texture and pattern on the surface is conducive to different handling styles (using the edge/perimeter of the thumbstick, or placing the thumb right in the middle)Cons:- they don't add much height at all (if that's what you're looking for), since they slip over and make contact directly on top of the thumbstick vs clamping onhighly recommended!!!!

Amazing Grip
If you like great grip but not a raised thumbstick try these. They have a very good soft and grippy feel. Fit Xbox series x controllers great and work amazing. Recommend for gamers needing extra grip with out extra height

Worth it but not without some issues
I have always used Kontrol Freek thumb sticks to raise the height of the PS controllers over the past decade of playing COD. And recently, I upgraded to a PS5 and had to get the new Dualsense Edge controller with it. I have used Scufs and Astro during the PS4 days. But since getting the new DS Edge controller, i found myself just using the longer thumb stick that the edge controller provides rather than adding a kontrol freek. However, just using the stock longest thumb stick provided in the edge’s carry case, i found that my right thumb would slip off the thumb sticks at times so i was looking for some extra grip and ended up with these, the kontrol freek grip covers. I hated the random colors but it is what it is.So I’ve used these for nearly a year on the edge controller only so my experience and review is mainly geared towards the edge using these grip covers. They do not rotate when they are applied to the thumb sticks. They are tight and i cannot even rotate them if I wanted to. The reason i would want to is mainly due to the fact i dont have my thumbs in the middle of the sticks but more towards the bottom of it. And by now, im sure you have read many reviews about these not lasting long and those reviews are not lying about that. So i tent to rotate the grip covers so i can have better grip and to make these last a bit longer. How long do they last, roughly about 40-60 hours of playing. The dots will wear out as well as the rim of the cover. On top of that, the rubber does rub off and leaves tons of colored rubber specs under the thumb sticks and on the controller as seen in other pictures. I have purchased about 4 of these packages from both Amazon and Kontrol Freaks, (dont order from KF, they are terrible in customer service) in the past year and usually change them monthly. Sometimes weekly if im playing a lot. Grip is excellent however and worth it the troubles. I do use compressed air to clean the controller before gaming. I also dont see myself using anything else for my edge at this point for COD at least. I do use the kontrol freaks thumb stick for other games for the extra length. Hope this helps! I had to reduce 1 star due to durability and the mess it leaves on your controller.

Like Tony says "their great"
These things are hella grippy. They work great. Its the first time I feel they may be too grippy but 10/10 recommend.

Exactly what I needed!
I went with Kontrol Freek and spent a little more than I could have for simple thumbstick covers from a Chinese seller. This is because I use the kontrol freek higher rise grips on my main controller and they have always worked great. They do wear out after a couple of years, but it’s expected. They’re also a US based company. I’m assuming they also make the product here and aren’t just headquartered in the US.At any rate, I needed something for my other controllers, both Xbox one and ps5. My custom Xbox controller in the pic had the factory thumbstick rubber half broke/wore off. This would have made it harder for the traditional KF covers to work that clip on, but slip on ones would do nicely. And they did! They fit on good and have no slip, saving my thumbstick from further wear and tear. They feel good, too, verses the factory feel.
